Welcome to Birdie Bungalow! Tucked among the trees on beautiful Sugar Mountain, this funky and fun two-bedroom roundhouse offers a mountain stay that’s anything but ordinary. With its unique circular design, single-level layout, and sweeping views of the 15th fairway of Sugar Mountain Golf Course, this cozy retreat is the perfect blend of comfort, character, and High Country charm.

Inside, you’ll find bright, inviting spaces designed for relaxing after a day of hiking, skiing, golfing, or exploring the mountains. The open living area is perfect for gathering with family and friends, while large windows bring the outdoors in with peaceful fairway and mountain views. Two Queen bedrooms each have a TV, ceiling fan, and its own full bath with tiled shower so there's no waiting for the bathroom while you're getting ready for the day's adventures. 

Step outside to enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the greens or unwind in the cool mountain air after sunset. Relax by the firepit with a beverage and s'mores! There's a wooden walkway from the cottage to the fairway, and the deck has a convenient shield permanently affixed to protect folks enjoying the deck and the views from getting a little too close to stray golf balls. Sugar Mountain Resort is just a 3 minute walk, and there's a convenient nearby shuttle pickup point if you don't want to walk and carry your gear. 

Sugar Mountain Resort is a premier four-season destination in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It offers extensive winter sports like skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, and ice skating, as well as summer activities including mountain biking, hiking, scenic lift rides, golf, tennis, and annual festivals like Oktoberfest.

Conveniently located near skiing, golf, dining, wineries, and all the adventures of the High Country, the one-of-a-kind Birdie Bungalow roundhouse makes the perfect home base for every season. Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a golf weekend, or a laid-back mountain escape, this Sugar Mountain gem delivers a stay you’ll remember long after checkout.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- There is one camera outside, aimed at the driveway & entry walkway boardwalk. There are no other cameras outside and no interior cameras. 
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. 
- This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs each under 50 pounds with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
