Bigfoot Bungalow

Located near Grandfather Mountain, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Blowing Rock, Bigfoot Bungalow is the perfect location. The property feels private, but everything we wanted to see was just a short drive away. The spaciousness of the house was perfect for us. We had everything we needed for a comfortable extended stay, from kitchen essentials to cozy blankets. The woodwork and decor make the whole place feel warm and homey. The Bigfoot theme was fun and you can even have your picture taken with him in the yard! We visited in the fall and the scenery was beautiful. This rental exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to return sometime soon!

We have stayed at the Bigfoot Bungalow twice now, and each time it's been a wonderful escape.The highlight for us is the quiet location. Surrounded by beautiful landscaping, the property provides a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration. Enjoying the quietness while soaking in the hot tub was truly relaxing. The location is fantastic for exploring the surrounding area. Overall we have enjoyed both of our stays and plan staying again in the future!

Location was great next to a lot of great hiking trails. Loved the spacious layout which was great for the whole family to be together. The yard was beautiful and loved the sound of the fountain in the back while enjoying my morning coffee. The house was clean and welled stocked, so we had all we could want or need. Will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay! This cabin is incredible if you are bringing a furry friend! We loved that the porch had gates that we were able to close. It is very secluded and private. The kitchen is fully stocked, we were very impressed. Planning to spend every anniversary here from here on out now!

Beautiful and comfortable house with everything we needed for our two-night stay. Enjoyed coffee and the view of the woods from the back deck on the first morning despite the cold thanks to a fire table, comfy sofa and rockers, and warm throws provided. Awesome hot tub. There was a slight hiccup upon arrival (which it turns out they had informed me about in an earlier message which I missed!) and the house was not ready for a while, but we were nicely compensated for the inconvenience with dinner out on them. Be aware that cell phone coverage is not great at the house, so if you want to be able to communicate with the owners / management agency before or upon arrival, be sure to take down the Wi-Fi password in advance!! Great location off the Blue Ridge Parkway -- very close to excellent Blowing Rock restaurants and hiking.
