For year-round excitement, Beech Mountain Ski Resort is just 3.5 miles away, offering skiing, snowboarding, and mountain biking.

Inside, the open-concept living and kitchen area features soaring vaulted ceilings, a cozy gas fireplace, and a TV for relaxing evenings. The kitchen boasts a beautiful granite island with seating for four, a convenient pantry for guest use, and a quaint dining table for two. The hallway to the deck gives access to a half bath on the right and the laundry nook on the left. The main and upper levels each feature a luxurious king ensuite with smart TVs, ceiling fans, and spacious bathrooms complete with tiled showers and double granite vanities.

Step outside to the covered deck, where you can soak in the fresh mountain air and take in the mountain views. Just a few steps away, you’ll find a private hot tub area and a firepit, perfect for unwinding under the stars. For additional space and privacy, an exterior door near the hot tub leads to a bonus room with a sleeper sofa, TV, and a full private bathroom—ideal for extra guests or recreation.

Whether you’re soaking in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows around the firepit, or simply enjoying the thoughtful design of this mountain escape, Bear Paw Getaway offers everything you need to create lasting memories.

Additional Notes:
•    This home is allows one dog, mature and crate-trained with a maximum weight of 50lbs for an additional rent of $25 per night plus tax. Pets left unattended must be crated.
•    All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
•    Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
•    Firewood: You may purchase firewood for the outdoor firepit from us and have it delivered prior to your arrival. This service requires one-week notice prior to arrival, no exceptions. The cost for firewood is $25 per night, plus 12.75% tax. Each night purchased includes 2 small bundles (each bundle contains 6-8 pieces of wood) and 1 fire starter log.  There is no refund for unused firewood. 
•    Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
•    Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
•    No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
•    Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
•    No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
•    4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes and may be necessary for all homes on Beech Mountain. The driveway is flat and gravel. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. 
•    Please note that the owners use a Ring doorbell cameras to monitor the entrance to the home. 

- CANCELLATION POLICY -
Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
