This property is wonderful if you want to be able to walk to downtown Blowing Rock! It's clean and the refurbished apartments are in a great neighborhood. No issues overall and the property management group is always excellent!! We will stay again and defiantly recommend to friends.

This property was immaculately clean with immediate access to downtown Blowing Rock and Boone was a mere 5 minutes drive away.The beds and the furniture were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well- stocked with the necessary utensils and cookware with the glassware showcased in a beautiful glass-fronted armoire. It has wonderful appointments throughout and much care and little touches have been made to make this a fantastic home. The sitting area outside is very cozy and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay . We used the fireplace due to the inclement weather and it gave a lovely ambience to the setting not to mention warmth! Parking was plentiful and overall just a lovely place! If you plan to enjoy all that the surrounding area has to offer then this IS the only location to stay! Thank you to all the staff who made our stay memorable!

Our stay at Bear Pause was very enjoyable. From the time we booked our trip the property management group was in touch with us almost daily. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here! The condo is charmingly decorated and the bed was so comfortable we overslept an extra hour and had to rush out the next morning. Sitting out on the balcony enjoying the cool Blowing Rock evening air was a lovely treat.
