Welcome to Beagle's Rest, your dog-friendly haven in the beautiful, gated community of Eagles Nest in Banner Elk. 

The Story Behind The Name 
Our home Beagle's Rest was named after our sweet beagle Hunter. He loved coming to explore the mountains so much that when we chose to build our home, we knew we had to honor him. As of Summer 2024, Hunter is no longer with us in person but his sweet spirit lives on, and we hope you fall in love with the mountains and feel his sense of adventure just as much as he did. A photo of Hunter is included in our slideshow.

Nestled in a serene natural setting, this stunning property offers a perfect blend of comfort, relaxation, and entertainment for guests of all ages. As you approach the vacation rental, you'll be captivated by its charming exterior, featuring a mix of modern and rustic elements that seamlessly blend into the natural surroundings. The house boasts multiple decks on the backside, providing plenty of space for outdoor relaxation and enjoyment. In the winter, a seasonal view of the sunsets will open up! Guests are given access to the attached two-car garage, plus there is a large, flat parking area in front.

Upon entering the home, you'll step into a bright and open living area with high ceilings and large windows that flood the space with natural light. The main level is designed for convenience and comfort. The open-concept living area on the main level is inviting with plush seating, a cozy fireplace, and a large flat-screen TV, perfect for relaxing with family and friends. The fully-equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances and a large island with bar seating, makes meal preparation a breeze. A dining area with a table for communal meals is adjacent to the kitchen. On this level, you'll find a luxurious king suite, a spacious primary bedroom with a comfortable king-sized bed, a private ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub and a walk-in shower, heated floors and direct access to the deck for a morning coffee or evening stargazing.

Heading upstairs to the upper level, you'll discover two queen suites, each thoughtfully designed for relaxation and privacy. These suites feature comfortable queen-sized beds, private bathrooms, and plenty of closet space. Guests staying on this level can also enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.

The lower level of the vacation rental is a haven of entertainment and recreation. Here, you'll find a bunk room designed with kids (and the young at heart) in mind. It features three sets of twin over twin bunk beds and a playful decor theme. The game room is an entertainment paradise with a air hockey, shuffleboard, arcade, board games, and a seating area for movies or TV.

Step outside onto the lower deck, and you'll discover a relaxing hot tub with seating for everyone. Unwind in the bubbling waters while taking in the beauty of the natural surroundings. Throughout the home, you'll find modern amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi, central heating and cooling, a laundry room, and ample parking.

Whether you're looking to relax in the king suite, enjoy the company of friends and family in the living area, cook out on the Rectec Bullseye Deluxe pellet grill (bring your own pellets), or have a blast in the game room and hot tub, Beagle's Rest offers the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable vacation. Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each
HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p; Sat 2p-10p; Sun 2p-8p. (Please verify hours directly with the winery, as times may vary seasonally.)
Please note all visitors on premise at the Winery must be 16 years or older with the exception of Sundays.  This is strictly enforced. 

Guest do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman’s Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.

Please be advised that private ATVs are not permitted in the community and will be denied entry at the gates.

Additional Notes:
.-This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.  
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months. 
- There is an amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there is an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- All linens and towels provided for your stay.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- Firewood  may be added at the time of booking or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You receive two wrapped bundles and a fire starter for $25/night.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 59 days of the arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

We absolutely love staying in the Eagles Nest community in Banner Elk, and once again, renting through Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was an amazing experience. Their service is always impeccable—when we had an issue with the hot tub, they responded quickly and got it addressed right away. When I called about the hot tub, I also mentioned that the nonstick coating in the pans had been terribly scratched up. They showed up with a whole new set of replacement pots and pans in no time which I did not expect. Their team is incredibly responsive, and their properties are always clean, well-kept, and stocked with great kitchen amenities. This trip, we stayed at Beagle’s Rest, and it was perfect for our large group of 14 people plus our Golden Retriever. The house had plenty of space for everyone, with beautiful views from the back deck and a fantastic outdoor fire pit area—though unfortunately, we couldn’t use the fire pit due to a burn ban at the time. However, we loved the great jacuzzi and still enjoyed making s’mores in the oven. One of the best parts of Beagle’s Rest is the awesome basement setup for kids. It has six bunk beds, a ceiling swing, a papasan chair, a big-screen TV for movie nights, and their own full bathroom. There’s also a game and arts-and-crafts table, air hockey, shuffleboard, an 80’s-style arcade tabletop game, and even a Scrabble table upstairs—so there was plenty to keep everyone entertained. Eagles Nest itself is an incredible community with so much to do—ATV trails with creeks and vertical hills, archery, mini-golf, basketball and pickleball courts, soccer, rope courses, a great playground, plenty of hiking trails, and a winery. Plus, there are lots of dog-friendly rentals, which we love since we always bring our pup along. There’s also an onsite 24/7 Dollar General for any items you may need. We’ve always had a fantastic experience both renting from Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals and staying in Eagles Nest. If you’re looking for a spacious, well-equipped home for a large family or group, Beagle’s Rest is a fantastic option. Highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of staying at Beagle’s Rest in mid-September. This well organized home allowed us to have a peaceful vacation where everything we needed was provided. Beagle’s Rest is located in the beauty of the most gorgeous Mountain View’s, with tons of things to do right in the community. We loved playing mini golf, hiking, and exploring nature (including many animal sightings!). The home is very clean with all needed supplies to cook and enjoy your stay. At Beagles Rest, we loved the fire-pit, hot-tub, and game room. In the surrounding areas we loved going on an off road course, hiking local waterfalls, gem-mining, and doing the Alpine roller coaster. There is so much adventure close by! We highly recommend this home to anyone- it’s perfect for quietly enjoying mountain time or getting out and exploring! The homes interior is beautifully decorated and has multiple layers to spread out for small groups, but you can gather in the main floor for big meals or games. The beds were amazing and comfy! We can’t say enough good things about our fabulous time here and look forward to coming back again. Beagles rest is a perfect get-away space that will leave you feeling like you want more time there! The icing on the cake was that our pup was also able to join us and he had the best time too!

We had such an amazing time at Beagels Rest at Eagles Nest. The house was absolutely gorgeous. The view was spectacular. We were there to celebrate our daughters graduation from App State so there was around 11of us we had plenty of room in the house. We really loved it there.
