We all loved it. Great for all four of us and the pup. Didn't need are four wheel drive but happy we had it. Will definitely stay again. Host was on point with every question and with the info we needed. Can't ask for more. Clean, Host on point, pet -friendly, location was beautiful and easy to get to. no need for 4x4 but if you have it definitely a plus for the other roads.

Banner Sky was clean, well stocked and a great location. The proximity to downtown Banner Elk was perfect and a great base to explore the area for an elopement location. We appreciated the sound machines as it is a little close to the road, although there isn't much traffic noise during the night. Unfortunately the weather was the greatest, otherwise would have taken advantage of the large deck and fire pit. I would definitely book this property again as it is an overall great value.

We were close enough to visit our excursion fun at Sugar Mountain, Alpine Coaster - what a blast - and Hawksnest Tubing! Thank you for all your do to ensure we are well taken care of. We found the cabin to be beautiful and comfortable. Our snow tubing trip got cancelled due to high winds, but we headed over to Blowing Rock for winterfest and had a good time. The kids took advantage of all the snow in the backyard and enjoyed the fire pit.

Banner Sky was an amazing place for the two of us to stay while attending a wedding in Banner Elk. It's quiet, clean, and a great amount of space for 2-4 people. We came here 2 days before our son's wedding on 4/17/21. This is the most ideal, comfortable happy space to stay in. I love the location, the decor of the cozy cabin. Tasteful in each and every room. Our daughter and son in law spent 2 days here arriving from Tallahassee. They saw a bear in the road just before they arrived. I looked at many cabins online and this one was absolutely perfect. If we ever downsize I would consider the floor plan. It is so livable. The windows, ship lap, cozy fireplace and decor make it a happy and peaceful place. Thank you!

What a beautiful cabin! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Banner Sky. We got to have fun outside playing in the snow, spent time playing games and chatting with a hot drink in front of the fire, and went out for a delicious dinner at Stonewall's. It was just the getaway we needed.

The cabin is in a great location if you are here to ski or enjoy area parks or whatnot. The cabin is almost brand new and it is put together well, tall doors, high quality bathrooms, granite countertops and very nice overall. The tankless water heater is a bonus for a cabin. The gas fireplace is OK but puts off very little heat so it is really for aesthetics only. Do not use Apple or Google to get to this property, they will take you to the wrong place. This is located directly across 194 from the Elk River Airport. One of the comments I saw on VRBO was about the road noise. When I looked at the windows, it was determined that they were not shut correctly. These are Pella windows that have two locking clasps, you have to loosen the bottom one a bit to get the window to release and then make sure that the upper clamp grabs the window and then lock that down before locking the bottom one. When I did that, almost all the road noise went away. If you are going to ski while here, get your tickets ahead of time and be there an hour before they open once you get them. If you are coming in from the Boone area, go via 194 through Valle Crucis, the traffic on 184 by Sugar is a parking lot. All in all, a great stay in a beautiful place.

The cabin was beautiful, clean, cozy loaded with all amenities, sits in the heart of eagles nest, elk river and downtown. Location is perfect. Will defenitely be staying here next visit.
