Welcome to Banner Crest, one of the premier vacation destinations in the High Country! Every comfort detail has been thoughtfully considered for this multi-million-dollar property. Drink in the expansive long range mountain views off your private back deck after an invigorating game of tennis on the private hardtop court followed by a relaxing swim in the heated pool. 

As you drive through the private gates up the paved driveway to the home, you’ll note the careful landscaping on the grounds. Park either in the two-car garage (with Tesla EV charger) or outside. With room for 5 cars outside there’s plenty of space for everyone. 

The main level of the main house is accessed with just two steps, offering easy entry for everyone in your group. Enter through the solid oak door and walk through the foyer, and prepare to have your breath taken by the stunning interior. The great room features hardwood floors and soaring tongue & groove ceilings with impressive beams overhead. The double-sided stone gas log fireplace reaching all the way to the ceiling is the focal point of this room, along with the wall of windows overlooking the ever-changing mountain views. Leather furnishings are arranged around the fireplace and there’s a large flatscreen TV mounted above. 

On the other side of the fireplace you’ll find a game room with a pool table as well as the staircase heading to the lower level. Downstairs is a second living area. This room offers comfortable leather seating, an electric fireplace, a TV, kitchenette, and a game area with foosball and a ping pong table and a hot tub on the lower level deck. 

The spacious kitchen is a chef’s dream. Granite counters and a huge island, custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances, Keurig, and a gas stovetop combine to create a perfect place for cooks of all skill levels. The dining table has room for up to 10 with additional seating for 5 at the island and 4 more at the breakfast table in the great room.  

Banner Crest offers luxurious sleeping accommodations for everyone in your group. On the main level in the main house, you’ll find a master bedroom with a King bed, TV, and sliding doors to the deck. Its private bathroom offers an oversized travertine tiled shower, a separate jetted bathtub, and marble double sinks with a makeup vanity in the middle. Downstairs you’ll find three more bedrooms. Two suites each have a Queen bed with private tiled shower, and the third offers a twin-over-full bunk bed. There is a tiled tub/shower combination on the lower level for the common area and bunk room.

The guest house, located across the driveway from the main home, offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms as well. There are two King bedrooms on the main level with a tiled shower and double marble vanity. The upper level has a cozy kitchen, dining table for four, and a sofa with TV. The king suite on the upper level has a full bath with a tiled shower.

The outside spaces of Banner Crest feature unmatched recreation and relaxation options for everyone in your group. Both levels of the main house have expansive covered deck with multiple seating arrangements, and the main level deck includes an outdoor gas fireplace with patio table, providing a perfect place to relax during cooler evenings. Down a flight of stairs from the main house you’ll find a heated in-ground swimming pool and a cabana deck with several chaise loungers and an outdoor couch. Shade yourself from the sun in the gazebo at the end of the deck and you’ll have a bird’s eye view of the tennis courts and basketball goal below (bring your favorite basketballs and tennis rackets & balls!) Across the driveway facing the house is a wooded park-like setting with a picnic table and in-ground stone fire ring, accessed by trail-style railroad tie stairs. 

With everything Banner Crest offers, you may not ever wish to leave this spectacular home. If you do manage to tear yourself away, in less than five minutes you’ll be in historic downtown Banner Elk where you’ll find some of the region’s most exclusive dining and shopping. Winter fun at Ski Beech and Sugar Mountain can be had just 15 minutes away, as well. Valle Crucis, Boone, and Blowing Rock are all under 45 minutes from this home.

Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night. 
-    Animals and pets of any kind are absolutely not permitted on or in the property under any circumstances. Thank you for not bringing animals to this home. 
-    This home offers a Tesla EV charger in the garage. 
-    The heated pool is available and useable between Memorial Day and Labor Day only. It will be drained and covered outside of this season. 
-    Guests need to bring their own sports equipment for the tennis and basketball courts. 

- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 5pm and Checkout is by 10am
- This home is accessed by a paved road and driveway. The driveway has a moderate incline with a level parking area at the house. The driveway will be plowed after snowfalls. 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
- This home has one exterior camera on the garage monitoring the parking area only, no other cameras are present at the property. 
-CANCELLATION POLICY: STRICT: Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.

Our college reunion group had a great time at Banner Elk. There was so much to do indoors and outdoors at the house - fire pit, chiminea on the deck, heated pool, pickle ball, and game tables on each level of the house. The view was amazing. Definitely just the right place for multiple couples with all the bathrooms and the guest house for quiet.

This cabin is excellent! Immaculate amenities, spacious accompaniments, and breathtaking views are just a few words to describe this property, but even those don't truly do this home justice. This was the perfect combination of privacy, tranquility and luxury for our family and we will be returning for another get away!

There was plenty of space for the kids to hangout downstairs and enjoy all the games provided with the house as well. Great location to both ski resorts. We definitely return!

We stayed here for six nights with two families and our young adult children and all agreed we would have stayed longer and would return. I have rented many large homes for family vacations and this was one of the best. We were a group of nine and the house could very comfortably fit the max of 15. We had difficulty trying to motivate the group to leave the pleasures of this home to explore all the area had to offer. This is a perfect resort style home, fully packed with relaxation, entertainment and conveniences at your fingertips. The house and kitchen are well equipped and clean. My only request would be for a 2nd refrigerator in either garage or lower level for cooling beverages. We had groceries delivered directly to the home prior to our arrival which was so convenient. Most of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, allowing for privacy. It is close to the town of Banner Elk with a wide variety of excellent restaurants. And the views off the deck are priceless. Worth every penny.

Lovely long weekend stay. It unfortunately rained most of the time, but all of the space and amenities in the home helped our group make the best of it. The home was very well stocked with dishes and kitchen ware.

If you're looking for a perfect place for a family/friend gathering look no further! This house was perfect for mine and my husband's family gathering. The house is just as described. The view from the top deck is absolutely stunning. The hospitality was great. With the games, pool, ping pong table, tennis court, swimming pool, fire pit you truly don't even need to leave the property but if you do there's plenty to do just a few minutes away- the location is perfect but still plenty secluded and easy to find! We'd love to come again!
