Great location close to sugar mountain resort and grandfather mountain! Had plenty of grocery stores nearby in case you needed something, the backyard was beautiful and peaceful, great place for a weekend getaway!

The cabin was very comfortable and the location was great! It was perfect for the amount of people we had. There was a covering of snow, so it was extra beautiful! In the listing, it says the gas fireplace does not work, but it was working for our stay and was wonderful! We did have an issue with the towels and I am alerting the host. I am sure they will correct it so it does not happen again.

Our stay recently was great! However, upon check in the kitchen cabinets were very dusty and we had some issues with our sheets, but they were very responsive and were willing to send someone out to fix the problems. The hot tub was nice for relaxing on the cool days. Overall, the cabin was cute and cozy and we enjoyed our stay there.

The place was fantastic, we all had a great time, the fire pit was so nice with the sound of the creek right beside it and the fire cracking, and the hot tub was perfect for those cold nights, the inside gives you that nice cabin feeling and smell. Everything was clean and wonderful. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin, which backed up to a relaxing creek. There was lots of room to spread out and enjoy including outdoor areas. The kitchen was generally well-furnished although a few lacked cooking basics (e.g., spcies, cooking spray). There was a coffee maker but not a kuerig machine. There was some road noise from the main highway and the access road had more traffic than expected. Unfortunately, the hot tub was over-chlorinated and we were unable to enjoy. Otherwise, the kids loved the foosball table and bunk beds and this location was super conveneint to ASU/Boone. We loved that we could bring our small dog with us and he enjoyed the cabin and yard as well. The beds were comfortable, the linens were provided, and the bathrooms were updated and everything was very clean. There was no AC but the fans were adequate for spring weather. We would definitely stay here again.

Our dog loved crossing the bridge/creek in the backyard. Gas fireplace was wonderful on a dreary day. Everything we needed to make breakfast. Got DoorDash delivery and curbside pick up from The Comeback Shack, Stickboy Kitchen, and Capones just minutes away. Close to 105 so easy access to everything but expect some road noise. Ingles market 5 minutes away for anything you forgot. Busy street at end of driveway so keep pups on leash and eyes on little ones. Note for those with chemical sensitivities, there were a couple of intensely scented air fresheners and smell stayed strong even when aired out. Good information binder with recommendations for restaurants and hikes. 10 minutes from access to fishing on the Watauga River at the Valle Crucis Community Park (husband caught a rainbow trout) and the Mast Store Annex. Will rent again.

We loved our time at the Baird’s Creek Cabin! It is in a perfect spot- near lots of great hikes and waterfalls and also close to town (shops, restaurants, and groceries). The Cabin is lovely- very comfortable and has everything you would need to be comfortable. We especially loved the beautiful stream in the backyard and enjoyed the view and sounds while we had a fire in the firepit and made S’mores! Such a fun get-a-way!!!

We had a nice weekend in the Baird's Creek Cabin. The hot tub was just perfect. Lots of room for our family and the location was great. We had a few hick-ups but the folks at Blue Ridge Mountain Resort took care of it and us immediately.
We would definitely recommend this cabin and Blue Ridge Mountain Resort.
