We had a wonderful stay at this property! The host was fantastic—communication was clear, prompt, and helpful from start to finish, which made everything seamless.
The house itself was very clean and well cared for, and the beds were incredibly comfortable—everyone slept great. The location was also perfect: close enough to town for convenience, but far enough away to feel peaceful and secluded.

The house was the perfect cozy, yet roomy enough for family of 4 plus grandma, Christmas cabin. Plenty of extra towels and bed quilts. Heaters in bedrooms were great as they were chilly. Kitchen is well stocked. It’s obvious that real people own this cabin and use it regularly. The loft was perfect for our teen girls, and the futon was actually quite supportive and comfortable. Zero complaints.

This was our first time staying in Boone and we had the best time. The cabin was very clean and exactly as described, with all the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. The location was so close to town for shopping and eating. We had a great time and hope to be back in the near future.

The cabin was beautiful and everything was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The back deck is very spacious and is a great place to enjoy the beautiful weather. It is just a short drive to Boone so very convenient for shopping, groceries, and restaurants.

We stayed Atop Boone and it was awesome place. There was a lot of space and less than two miles from Boone. The beds were very comfortable and high quality towels. Very nice place and would definitely recommend this place.

Our stay at Atop Boone was great. The cabin was as advertised. The location was ideal and was only 10 mins or so to shopping and eating in Boone. It snowed several inches while we were there and as long as you had 4wd, there was no issues getting around. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband, 3 young adult children and dog enjoyed 4 days of mountain fun, hiking, shopping, family time and great food for our Thanksgiving holiday. Atop Boone was clean, spacious, comfortable and homey. We loved the woodsy location, warm fireplace and comfortable beds. The most exciting part was having unexpected snow on Thanksgiving night through the next morning.

Everything was wonderful about the property. We had an issue with the electrical outlets in the bathrooms, which was corrected within 24 hours. The housekeeping should do a better job dusting. The master headboard was completely white with dust and had to be cleaned before we could sleep. The only other issue we had was the hot water for the showers. Two people could not shower at the same time. Hot water would not supply one place at a time…kitchen sink, master shower, or guest shower. Other than that, we enjoyed the fireplace and the coziness of the cabin.

This year, our family of four stayed at Atop Boone. We don't normally do reviews, but here you go. The cabin was CLEAN and comfortable, not to mention beautiful. The views were great and we loved being among the tall trees as well. The property was not as private as we were hoping for (2 houses next door), but everything else we loved about it made up for it. The cabin was located (straight up in elevation) a short distance from Boone, so quick access to Boone was a major plus. The sheer number of deer in the area was insane...they were just a few feet away outside the cabin windows. We appreciate the hospitality that we felt during our stay. The cabin was fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. and there were nice touches throughout the cabin that made it welcoming. Another major plus was that the furniture and bedding were in TOP CONDITION and CLEAN. We loved the wall to wall wood flooring, walls and ceilings. Overall, just a great memorable trip. Thank you to our hosts, you do it well.

It was amazing the cabin was big and beautiful. It had so much space and many things to do when bored. There was so much space for people to sleep. Out side was awesome the view of the mountains was incredible you could have everything. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin for Thanksgiving. The views are lovely of the mountains. The leaves had mostly fallen so you could see the mountains pretty well. During the summer months I would imagine it would be hard to see the view. The kitchen was well equipped for our Thanksgiving feast. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed our time together. I was hoping for walking trails or that the road the cabin was on would have been more off the beaten path. It is not a good road for walking. We did walk a in the woods right around the cabin. Overall it is a nice cabin with lots of games and movies and has all of the comforts of home.

We had a great experience. The home is spacious, beautiful, and clean. The back deck is huge. When we arrived the access code did not work but once I called maintenance they were able to correct the situation quickly . We could not see the Mountain View as much I would have liked but I think once the leaves fall you will be able to see it better. That did not stop us from seeing beautiful views driving there and back and sight seeing while we were there.

The property was very nice and spacious. My wife and I had a very nice, quiet stay. We saw deer in the yard one morning and the deck outside was peaceful to sit with the morning coffee. The arrangements for checkin and check out were seamless and we had no issues during our stay.

This was a great mountain getaway for the weekend. It was tucked back so that you felt secluded, but close enough to BOONE (5 mins) and Blowing Rock (10 mins) to enjoy the wonderful restaurants and shops. The house was clean and well maintained! The kitchen had all the necessary amenities and the jacuzzi master tub was very relaxing. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying for Christmas and New Year's !! We enjoyed being so close to everything, we traveled no more than 20 minutes to anything and with 3 small boys that is a blessing, lol. We enjoyed the back deck, it served as a great place to enjoy the sunrise and relax as the boys played. We had beautiful weather and were able to walk around outside and enjoy site seeing at Blowing Rock, shopping in Boone and Snow Tubing on Sugar Mountain. Stayed at A Top Boone for 4 months. This was our fourth time renting here and already booked for four months next year. The log cabin house is so warm and has everything you could need. The rooms are great size and well equipped. The owner of the house “Tim” is a fantastic individual. The view is spectacular and close enough to the town of Boone. I highly recommend that everyone should rent here
