Great location and cozy house! Everything was clean and comfortable. Plenty of warm blankets to sit by the fire or watch tv. Bed was super comfortable as well! We enjoyed fishing (didn't catch anything by the house) and venturing into Boone and Blowing rock - both within 10 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the most beautiful and relaxing spot. Sadly, the fireplace didn't work and the dishwasher wouldn't close so we could do the dishes. But the location is perfection and the hot tub and fire pit were both amazing! Super close to Boone and Blowing Rock downtowns!! We will be back.

Just my wife, our dog and me made it very relaxing especially afternoons on the screened porch listening to the babbling waters. Once in a while it is good to leave the kids and grandkids for a few days and have a peaceful romantic getaway with just your spouse. You owe it to each other.

We had a wonderful time at this cozy cabin sitting right on a small fork of the New River. We even tubed from the cabin down to the Payne Branch park, definitely recommend doing that, a short and easy tube ride and you can walk back along the road.

We had the best time and the cottage was perfect! It is close to everything but feels secluded. We loved being right on the water- it was so relaxing to hear the babbling and rippling stream. My husband loves to fly fish and it was so nice for him to walk right out and fish- he caught a ton just in the little stretch of water in front of the house. It's cozy and well-decorated. The beds are super comfy, with good pillows. The kitchen was well-appointed and had everything needed to make meals. The hot tub was nice and clean- it was great to get in after hiking. We were there celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and will definitely be back for a weekend get-away soon! We loved our stay at the appropriately named Angler's Cottage!

One of the coolest places we have stayed. We were up for Family Weekend and it was so relaxing to come back after the game and soak in the hot tub and then watch more college football at night by the fire. Out daughters enjoyed hanging out with us as well at the house, so that was a plus! Will rent again.

We really enjoyed our time! Its a great location to either Blowing Rock or Boone. The house is not child proofed so just beware if you are bringing a young child. The kitchen was perfectly fine for most families. If you are a foodie like us, you'll want to bring a few special items such as citrus squeezer, sharp knives, etc. We'd definitely stay again!

First of all I would say that we have used VRBO for many rentals over the years, the Blue Ridge team is the most efficient and professional we have delt with over the years. Every step was easy and well controlled, from initial contact to the key for access to the property. The property was exactly as advertised, clean and comfortable with adequate parking. It is secluded and quiet with the exception of the bubbling river running past the rear of the house which was really pleasant. The location, although secluded is close to downtown Boone and we appreciated Publix for grocery shopping. Blowing Rock is also close by which has a lovely downtown with lots of good restaurants. We used the jacuzzi almost every late afternoon with our pre-dinner drinks, so relaxing. It was also nice to have a welcome for our Yorkie who made himself right at home. The internet contact is first class as was the numerous TV selection including You Tube,
You Tube TV, Peacock and more, reception was perfect. Also tried fishing in the river, caught four small trout which was fun, all catch and release.
Hope to return again sometime in the future.

We had a great time at our stay! The cabin was cozy and decorated very well. Serviceable kitchen for cooking. The stream running by the cabin is lovely. Only about 5 minutes away from Boone and about 10 minutes away from Blowing Rock, very easy drive to both areas.

My husband and I stayed a couple of nights to celebrate our anniversary. The cottage was a perfect size for the 2 of us. Also, the location was awesome; a couple minutes to Boone and a quick drive to Blowing Rock. We loved having coffee down by the river to listen to the water flow. Great getaway!

Although the cabin is completely private, many fun destinations are a short drive away including shopping less than 10 minutes away. Our grandson particularly loved Wilderness Run and The Grandfather Mt. Bridge. He also loved stone hopping in the creek, and my husband enjoyed fishing. The sound of the creek at night is soothing. Hopefully, it wouldn’t be needed, but Blowing Rock Urgent Care was excellent. We’d love to stay at the cabin again.

There is nothing better than a cozy, quiet cabin with a creek! The amount you of privacy was awesome. The location couldn’t have been better being that it was in between Boone and Blowing Rock. This cabin is just what we needed!
