Loved the house! You definitely need 4 wheel drive to access the neighborhood, and it's a bit technical to get up and down some of those steep hills, but well worth it! Loved the hot tub, fireplace, tv, etc. Will be back!

Angels Envy was a dream. Yes, the road getting there is fun to say the least, but the house, views and quietness is well worth it.

Perfect for a work retreat.

We loved our time here. Great experience!

Our multigenerational family could not have been happier with our stay at Angels Envy in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The views were exceptional, and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and feel connected. We loved the large kitchen and the coffee bar, which added a touch of luxury to our mornings. Our days were filled with fun activities like playing ping-pong, hiking, soaking in the hot tub, and exploring charming downtown Blowing Rock. The highlight was definitely the large fireplace and the deck off the great room, perfect for family gatherings. Angels Envy had something for everyone, and we would most definitely go back again.

My wife and I recently spent a wonderful few days at Angels Envy. Less than perfect weather meant that we spent more time by the full wall fireplace ! And in the jacuzzi facing Grandfather Mountain (rain and cold simply make a dip in the hot tub all the better)!
We will be back!

Angel's Envy is well-appointed, clean, and great for families. The views are unbeatable, and the hot tub was an awesome perk. It was a perfect spot for three generations to celebrate a milestone birthday.

This home is perfect. The view is unmatched. Would 100% recommend and can't wait to go back.

The house is amazing with stunning views!! Highly recommend this for a getaway!

Loved the location, it was convenient to Blowing Rock. Layout was great, we really enjoyed the ping pong table and the jacuzzi. Setup is great for a large family, and the views are amazing!

Very relaxing area. Quiet!!!

Nice house good room

I stayed here for an extended weekend for my daughter's college graduation. The home was extremely clean and well maintained. The location was convenient because it was a short drive to Blowing Rock and Boone. The driveway leading up to the home is a typical mountain type road and is manageable as long as you take your time but AWD/4WD vehicle should be used. There really was nothing negative about my experience and will definitely visit here again.

This property is terrific. The hot tub was ready to go upon arrival. Views are magical. The host is responsive to communication. Our group wanted access to local ski mountains. The kitchen is well stocked to prepare family meals. The ride up to the house on the winding road is part of the allure and seclusion. And the cozy blankets are a great added touch.
- David, Posted: 02/22/2023
The house is nice and has everything you would need for your stay. The road into the property is tricky, but the owners were upfront and provided detailed directions and helpful tricks for navigating.

We had an amazing stay at Angel's Envy! Spacious and well appointed, it was clean, cozy and convenient to all the Blowing Rock and Boone activities. We had a great time.
- Samuel, Posted: 12/20/2022
We had a great time! The house was absolutely beautiful. It felt like home with lots of cozy blankets and a really well stocked kitchen. The view was amazing as well! The drive into the property was not super easy, but we all had 4 wheel drive and had no issues. We loved this property and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

The drive up is definitely steep if you've never driven in the mountains before but the view is amazing. This house is perfect for someone wanting the Mountain Views and doesn't want to venture out much. We left one day and explored and then stayed in the next day and it was a perfect mini getaway.

Our family and our friends had a lovely stay at Angel's Envy. We would definitely stay here again. The views are amazing and lots to do nearby or at home.

This was great for our family with young kids as we spend a lot of our vacation time at the house. Very comfy and spacious, kids loved the loft and lower level to play in, lots of room for everyone to spread out and sleep. Property is close to downtown Blowing Rock and very easy to get to and from Boone or hikes along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The view is incredible and we enjoyed sitting out on the porch for sunsets each night. Property managers were available via phone, text, and email which was appreciated.

Excellent customer service and communication. Property was better than expected.

This property was great! It’s big and cozy. Plenty of space for everyone. It even has a loft I used as an office. Great amenities, Keurig, AppleWatch chargers, ping pong table, games, hot tub, washer/dryer, to name a few. The view is amazing!!!! The view the view the view!!! All the generations loved it, grandparents, parents, teens and kid. Highly recommend this property. Will come back!

Great weekend for couples or a big family. The place was very well equipped for cooking. Nice to go out as well. It was just remote enough to feel like you were private. However close to Blowing Rock. Highly recommend eating at the Best Cellar Restaurant in Blowing Rock.
- Barry, Posted: 07/25/2022
Angels Envy has some of the best mountain views with incredible sunsets. The driveway was steep as described but totally manageable. The house was very clean and had plenty of space for our party of 10. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Angel's Envy was everything you see online and more! Beautiful, scenic and cozy! AWD/4WD is a must.
- Cathy, Posted: 07/06/2022
The drive up to the house was an adventure (haha!) but it was worth it! The house was excellent, with beautiful views. I would recommend!
- Laura, Posted: 04/26/2022
What a cabin! We had an absolute blast at Angels Envy. Plenty of room for the whole family to spread out. We loved sitting by the gas fireplace and having happy hour on the deck! Sunsets in the hot tub cannot be missed. The kitchen is great - cooked a whole Thanksgiving feast with no problem! The downstairs bonus room with ping pong and board games was great for the kids. We loved being so close to downtown Blowing Rock, very convenient! We can't wait to come back to Angels Envy on our next trip to the mountains.

Our group loved the view so much and there was plenty of communal hangout space which was so nice!
- Efren, Posted: 11/15/2021
Great property with amazing views! Secluded just enough to feel private but still close to many local attractions. Would recommend 4WD as the listing describes, those curvy gravel mountain roads need a capable vehicle. Beautiful drive in to the property!
- Morgan, Posted: 11/10/2021
Beautiful property nestled in the woods. Close to Blowing Rock. Perfect for our group of 9. Will stay here again. Definitely need 4wd to get there regardless of weather.
- Efren, Posted: 11/02/2021
Great place to stay and very clean.

Great house. Nothing but good things to say.
- Stephen, Posted: 08/23/2021
This was an excellent choice. The house had enough room for all of us. We all enjoyed our stay!
- D., Posted: 08/16/2021
We loved our stay at Angel's Envy. It was impeccably clean, well decorated, with nice furniture, and cozy furry blankets that the kids loved. The views were gorgeous. The road was rocky and narrow but that was previously disclosed, it just is what it is! We'd love to come back.
- Ashley, Posted: 08/09/2021
Very spacious yet had a nice cozy feeling. Thoughtfully decorated. Fully equipped. Gorgeous views. The driveway is pretty steep so four-wheel drive will help a lot.
- Stephanie, Posted: 07/27/2021
House was amazing!! Had everything we needed. Views were awesome from the porch- we had dinner on the porch and watched the sun set - can't get any better than that!! We were even able to see some fireworks off in the distance while we enjoyed the hot tub. Would definitely return.
- Courtney, Posted: 07/15/2021
Location is awesome and views are spectacular. Definitely need an AWD or 4×4 for the gravel road leading up to the cabin. If you want peace and quiet, this cabin is a home run.
- Jack, Posted: 06/28/2021
Our stay at Angel's Envy was amazing. The house was beautiful, the view was stunning..we couldn't have asked for a better mountain getaway for the weekend. There were 11 of us and the set up of the house was perfect to accommodate all of us very comfortably. The house was very well stocked with everything needed (pots, pans, dishes, knives, utensils, cutting boards, a Keurig and standard coffee pot - we even used the grill one evening, which was great). I can't think of anything that was lacking. And the house was beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed the goodies left by the owners (I especially loved the bacon fig jam - amazing). And the Jacuzzi hot tub was so relaxing, especially with that majestic view.

What a fabulous way to end our first getaway from home in more than a year. Angel's Envy near Blowing Rock is a beautiful and fully loaded vacation house with an unrivaled view of Grandfather Mountain!
Mornings began with coffee on the “main deck” as we watched the sun hit the peak of Grandfather and slowly illuminate downward through the valley below. Next would be a wake-up hike at one of the many public trails along the Blue Ridge Parkway, burning enough calories to deserve some great food just a few minutes away at Speckled Trout, or Camp Coffee, or maybe Bistro Roca. We hit them all at one time or another in our three-day trip. Blowing Rock is close enough to reach from the house that you can easily spend a lot of time shopping and eating there.
Afternoons back at the house were perfect for a glass of wine in the hot tub. This tub has some serious therapeutic water flow! From the tub you get the same view of Grandfather as the deck above. The view never gets boring.
Late afternoons were for napping with the windows open to enjoy the fresh mountain air. No sounds of traffic, just birds and the occasional breeze. When we weren't napping there was a nice ping pong table available, and TV. We felt like we were remote and miles from nowhere, and we loved it, but the big screen TV's and the satellite TV selections meant we watched some movies in theater-like conditions while there.
We had great weather, so we spent much of our time on the deck outside. The sun goes straight down over Grandfather. The blue color of the mountains gave way to orange and red, and finally to dark skies with stars!
When it cooled off at night, we cozied up by the beautiful stone fireplace. The big comfy sectional sofa was a popular spot to read, nap or watch another movie. A day at Angel's Envy completed, and repeated, for an entire weekend! Wish we could do this more often. Maybe we will! Angel's Envy, we will be back I'm sure.
