This was a wonderful cabin in a great location. We had a few issues that kept it from being a 5 star. We were greeted with rotten pumpkins to start. The home truly is cozy and met all of our needs. The beds were great! There was a problem with the kitchen sink not draining well. We reported this and they said it would be addressed asap. Which it was. However, the maintenance man came without us knowing, (no text, call or even email) so when we got home there was someone inside the house. We had no way of knowing who this was. He had nothing to identify him as a maintenance man. We thought someone had broken in. This was our main problem with this experience and sadly it is what we remember as it was pretty unnerving. I do hope the rental property will do things differently in the future. All of that said, we really did enjoy the home. And I would rent it again. (Please note that it is our standard policy to always get permission from the guest for anyone to access the home during their stay, and our customer care team has reached out to this guest since their visit. - BRMR)

Cute, cozy cabin nestled in the woods under a canopy of trees. Loved the porch swing, hot tub on the deck and that we could bring our small dog with us. The short gravel road to the driveway is steep. Highly recommend sleeping in the upstairs bed as the downstairs bed is squeaky and uncomfortable. Easy drive into Boone/Blowing Rock.

We had a wonderful and restful stay in “Among the Trees” cabin! The cabin was secluded, quiet, well equipped, neat, clean and so comfortable!! From a robust game of billiards to relaxing in the hot tub or swinging on the porch, we had our needs met. We brought our food, so we didn’t move our car until time to leave. We were needing a few days of rest, relaxation and no stress. That’s exactly what we found there. Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals are always helpful, efficient and ready to meet our needs!!

The cabin was absolutely spotless inside. It was as clean as we keep our home. Outside, there isn't much of a view in the summer, but you can tell there would be a beautiful view in the winter. We didn't mind - we enjoyed the seclusion. It is close and convenient to downtown Boone, making for great access to all the town has to offer. The hot tub is huge and also clean, but the beautiful overhead trees do occasionally drop visitors into the water, be it leaves or a bug or two - nothing the provided net can't fish out. Fire pit is awesome, and beats watching TV. But if you do want to watch TV, the house is equipped with smart Roku TVs in every room. Just don't forget to sign out when you leave (but thank you to some previous guests for access to their subscriptions). Great place, great location, great communications from the owners. We will definitely be back!

This cabin is great. It is located in a peaceful, secluded area but still each to get to Boone and Blowing Rock. The cabin is the perfect size for 2-4 people. We loved the layout, large closets, fireplace, and back porch/deck.

I appreciate how clean and inviting the cabin was. We would have stayed several more days had it been available! The hot tub was the BEST I have ever used and it completely healed a rotator cup issue in my shoulder that I have struggled with for months, believe me when I say that "all" hot tubs are NOT created equal! We enjoyed smores at the fire pit, played corn hole, shot pool and cooked some delicious meals. This was by far one of the very best cabins we have ever stayed in! The 2 king beds were a plus plus! Very comfy, cozy and welcoming.

We stayed at this wonderful cabin for 4 days during Christmas. It was magical. We were there during the polar vortex (wind chill got down to -35) and the cabin was warm and cozy. I cannot say enough about how clean it was. You would never know that it is dog friendly. Plenty of towels and well stocked. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, our long walks with the dogs and time in the snow and the hot tub. Thank you so much for letting us share a little of your paradise.

I loved the kid friendly touches and would love to come back with our kids sometime! But I would recommend this place to anyone. Among the Trees is one of the best places I have stayed. The kitchen was well stocked and didn’t need PT, TP, garbage bags, dishwasher tabs or anything. First time for that. It was comfortable all the tvs worked easily. Views and amenities were top notch. Just a great stay. Only request would be more bath towels.

I think 4-wheel drive is probably recommended for the gravel road up, especially in winter, but could definitely do it without if you have some experience driving in the mountains. Overall, a great place and we hope to return!

The cabin was perfect! It was super clean (including the hot tub), had everything you could need and was in a very quiet neighborhood with well kept roads. We really enjoyed our stay and have been thinking about booking it again. We miss being there :)

The cabin was perfect! Very clean and comfortable. The outside space was awesome with 2 decks, a hot tub, and a fire pit. The pool table in the loft provided lots of fun. The close proximity to Boone and Valle Crucis was great. We would definitely come back.

Very quiet location and peaceful. Would have preferred a paved driveway with the rain we had during the stay, but overall wasn’t a major problem at all.

Amazing property. First time I have wanted to write a neutral review just to discourage others from booking it up and keeping us from returning! :-). The home was spotless, well-equipped, sooo quiet, comfortable and just plain peaceful. I loved that everything - from the lockbox to the hot tub to the TV - worked exactly as advertised and easily (this really makes one feel at home here). We played monopoly, made s'mores around the fire pit, cooked each night, and loved relaxing in the hot tub. The beds were super comfortable and my 10yo loved the cool pull-out beds on the loft level, near the pool table. As a former SuperHost, you can just tell when someone does Airbnb just right...and Among the Trees has it nailed. We will be back...assuming there are dates available :-)

"In the Trees" is a beautifully appointed, well-equipped cabin that exceeded our expectations. The cabin offered amenities for everyone in our group - aged 6 to 76. The kitchen has great appliances; the gas fireplace is not only stunning but useful on chilly mornings and the pool table was a nice addition. Everywhere that we wanted to go was convenient to this cabin. Notably, when we did call Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals because the pilot light had gone out on the fireplace, they responded quickly and sent someone to light it within a couple of hours. Their staff was unfailingly polite and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Among the Trees. The rental company was a pleasure to work with and made our arrival and departure so easy. The property was beautiful, clean and the owner had not forgotten one single detail. Hot tub was WONDERFUL for relaxation after hiking. Kitchen was well stocked and beds very comfortable. We hope to stay here again and would definitely recommend Blue Ridge Mountatin Rentals for your next High Country get away.

We had a great time at the cabin! The rooms were clean and spacious. I really enjoyed the new appliances, pool table, hot tub, and large beds. Everything was clear and concise about directions and how to use things in the house. The TV in the living room was great, 4k Smart TV so you can plug your streaming credentials in if you need some entertainment while inside. There are many local parks if you need some trails to hike as well. We'll be back next year!

Among the trees was amazing! We will be booking again in the near future, it was everything we could have wanted. The cabin is very affordable in price and very clean and not to mention accepting dogs made it even better because were we go our fur babies go to!! So glad we choose Among The Trees.

This was such a great cabin for a couples weekend. Two King beds, hot tub, pool table, fireplace and firepit. We had a great time at the winery and Mass General store while we the Men went golfing and then watched football.

Once again, Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals has delivered. We rented a small cabin outside of Valle Crucis and loved it. It was a serene and quiet place to rest, read and relax...just what we wanted and just what we rented!

Pictures didn't do property justice! Hot tub was wonderful. Setting was quiet/serene. Best selection of cookware at any cabin I have ever rented! Check-in and check out process (including driving directions, supplies and codes) were spot on. Would rent from agency and stay again!

The cabin was beautiful, the pictures and video don't do it justice. It is really private and has a beautiful forest view with relaxing sounds of the creek in the background. It was extremely clean- even the hot tub-- and they had all the little things already there like dishes that you might not remember (not just plates and pans) and other things like board games and baby stuff (pack and play and high chair-- even though we don't have babies to worry about anymore, it was surprising to see it available). We really enjoyed our stay and will be going back.

As I sit and write this review the first thing I would say is WOW! My family headed to Boone, NC area to get away from the craziness of the world and it worked. This cabin is comfortable, cozy and just plan awesome. Great location to hit many trails to hike. We hiked over 25 miles during our stay and got to paddle board over on Price Lake. I am the cook and the kitchen was great. If you love to cook, this kitchen will make you feel like you are truly at home. I cooked shrimp, grilled steaks and chicken, salmon and ahi tuna, plus much, much more. All the kitchen needs were available. Great back porch and the hot tub was used often in the evening. I highly recommend this cabin for your next vacation. Trust me, your family will enjoy the stay. Happy Hiking and Cabin Living.

Great log cabin. If you want privacy this is the place for you!! Incredible stocked kitchen, all sorts of games to play, comfortable surroundings. You couldn't ask for anything more. We will definitely be coming back 👍👍

What a wonderful cabin in a lush, green, quiet setting that's a great place to flee COVID fears! Top-of-the-line amenities (gas stove, HD TVs with loads of channels, pool table) that i wish I had at home. Nice touches everywhere (a floodlight over the garbage cans!). As for the location, it's close to Boone and Blowing Rocks, Grandfather Mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway, just about everything you could want within a short distance). Thank you for sharing this wonderful getaway.

I have to say that the cabin exceeded our expectations. Communication with the property manager was very positive and clear. We received texts asking if we needed anything. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals. Just bring the groceries, but the house is close to some very nice restaurants. The entire house was absolutely spotless. The beds were very comfortable as well. The four of us had a beautiful time by the fire pit. We left very pleased that we found the peace amongst the trees that we were looking for this weekend. We definitely recommend the cabin to anyone who wants to get away from the busy and fast life of a big city. We are definitely grateful to have had the opportunity to stay at this gorgeous home. We are already planning our next visit to Among the Trees.

We had a nice time at among them trees! We really enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit! My little daughter especially enjoyed the swing! The beds were soft and very comfortable as well as the coziness of the living room. Everything was there that we needed to cook with... my only suggestion would be a 4 slice toaster for larger families. Also it would be nice to have more towels than just 4 for our stay. We had to wash them which really was not that big of a deal. Many places were closed due to the covid-19 virus. We were super disappointed to not be able to experience much. We tried to go to grandfather Mountain but it was closed. Overall it was a great experience and we would love to go back! Maybe give it a try during the summer!
