This spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo perched high on Sugar Mountain offers spectacular long-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Linville Valley. The spacious private deck is the perfect place to start your morning with coffee, relax after a day of adventure, or simply take in the incredible scenery.
Inside, the comfortable open living area features large windows, cozy furnishings, and a gas-log fireplace. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals at home, while the dining and living areas provide plenty of space to gather with family or friends.
The condo sleeps up to five guests with a king bed in the primary bedroom, a queen bed in the guest bedroom, and a twin sofa bed in the living room. The primary bath features a walk-in shower and separate jetted soaking tub—perfect for relaxing tired muscles after a day in the mountains.
Sugar Mountain Resort is just minutes away, putting the slopes and snow tubing within easy reach without the need for a long trip. Skiing and snow tubing are popular in winter, while mountain biking and golf offer plenty of warm-weather fun. Beyond Sugar Mountain, you'll be close to Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, the Blue Ridge Parkway, local restaurants, and countless opportunities for hiking, sightseeing, and exploring the High Country.
Whether you're visiting for a ski trip, fall foliage, summer adventures, or a peaceful mountain getaway, Aerie Retreat at The Reserve gives you a comfortable home base with a view you'll want to come back to.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- This home is located on the first floor, one level down from the parking area.
- Guests returning to Aerie Retreat can receive a 10% discount on the room rent, not to be stacked with other discounts. If you've stayed here before, please contact our reservations team for a discount on your next visit.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- This community does not allow guests to bring pets. Thank you for not bringing any animals to this property.
- The roads leading to this home are paved but moderately steep in many places. AWD or 4WD vehicles are highly recommended in winter months, and chains may also be necessary during inclement weather. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
CANCELLATION POLICY -
Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless The reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
