A wonderful house with an amazing view, myself & my guest all enjoyed the stay ! If bad weather is predicted I would HIGHLY recommend that you have a 4wd/awd vehicle or you’ll most likely be stuck until the locals get around with the plow.

The home was beautiful and had absolutely everything you need. Super clean and well maintained. We were granted a late check out which we very much appreciated! The road to get there is not for the faint of heart so definitely keep that in mind. My only complaint is that the front bunk bedroom was freezing cold. Almost became unusable because No matter how much we turned up the thermostat we could barely get it the room to a comfortable temp without the main room and other bedroom being far too warm. My son's monitor never picked up a temp above 67 in that room. Vent was open and air came out but it was definitely not heated air like the other vents. (Please note that this has been shared with our team to look into further - BRMR)

The house was OUTSTANDING for our girl's ski trip. There was a total of 13 of us and thx to the weather and the ride up to the house, we were forced to enjoy each other (LOL). Communication with Blue Ridge Mtn team before arrival was great. Once we arrived, we had a question about how to start the master bedroom shower because it wouldn't come on and we did receive an immediate response asking what was it doing, but we never got a fix for that. The other showers came in handy because we couldn't use the shower in the Master bedroom upstairs. The house was clean and beds were comfy.
FOUR WHEEL DRIVE was a MUST!!!!!!! We had a few vehicles that had to park about 3 mins from the house because they couldn't make it up due to the snow and ice. I did have a caterer come in on one night and thought she had a 4WD, and couldn't get to the house; we had to meet them and transfer everything to another vehicle. The ride up to the house was the worst part of the trip during this time of year.

This house is absolutely beautiful. Our only problem was weather which can’t be controlled. Due to icy conditions, we were not able to get everyone to the home to enjoy. No joke about needing chains to get to house under harsh weather conditions. Was able to enjoy house 1 night only, with just a few of expected guest.

The house was beautiful, in a great location, and the kitchen was well stocked with things that rentals don't typically have like an instant pot, air fryer, toaster oven, etc. The view was great and the kids loved the movie room downstairs. Would stay here again.

This house is the real deal! Pictures do not do the view justice. And the rental company did an amazing job communicating with us and organizing our stay. We could not have picked a better spot to bring the whole family. Hope we get to stay here again!

We had a wonderful experience in this cabin! It was exceptionally clean. Housekeeping did a great job. The view was phenomenal. We also enjoyed watching a mother dear & two babies grazing behind the house quite often. There were lots of nice, personal touches by the owner like several baskets of cozy blankets and lots of games/game boards around. I’ve never seen a better stocked kitchen in a rental before. They had more small appliances than I have in my own kitchen :) and an extensive stock of spices. Beds were memory foam and extremely comfortable. Our kids loved the games & the PS5. The rental company was a joy to work with. We noticed a small leak coming out of an owner’s closet on a very rainy day and they sent someone out immediately. The drive past the gate is a little rough because it’s not paved, but this is a very secluded and quiet community. We did have nightly visitors to our trash cans so I recommended a more secure trash area. We would love to return again! Highly recommended.

We loved the house, the views are amazing! Better than the pictures. The house is very modern, loved the kitchen area, game room. Everything was very clean. Two minor comments: 1) We had a leak from the upstairs bathroom to the downstairs bedroom, and could not get it fixed as it was July 4th weekend. I am sure the owners will get this fixed. 2) The road up to the house is not paved, so cars will get dusty/muddy...still worth the trip to the house. Overall would definitely consider going back to this house.

A beautiful place! We went here for a long weekend and the house had everything. The owners really have thought of everything to make your stay more enjoyable.
One thing to be mindful of is that the drive up is a little treacherous (as many mountain towns are), but after a couple times, you get used to it. The view makes it worth it! Blue Ridge is also very responsive and helpful!

The view is to die for! And the house has the most well stocked kitchen I've experienced. There's a gate and a curvy gravel road to contend with, but it's well worth it. Hosted a large group of extended family for App State Graduation and there was room for everyone to spread out. Will definitely stay again!

A gorgeous cabin! You are right at the top of the mountain and the views are incredible. Plenty of room in the house to accommodate all our guests. And Blue Ridge was SO response to any texts or messages on the Airbnb app. A truly wonderful stay.

Every appliance, kitchen gadget you could possibly think of is available. Sunrise is well worth the early wake up. Black out curtains were great too! The road in is definitely pretty insane in terms of steepness. You need to have 4WD 100% We would 1000% stay again!

Beautiful place, very well stocked and very well furnished, with amazing mountain views! Watch the deer & other wildlife from the deck, enjoy the remoteness and quiet while only being 10 minutes from downtown Boone and all the amenities it offers! Easy & accessible drive in, not very steep. Would definitely stay here again in the future
