We stayed here for 6 nights and we loved out stay here. We were going to Art of living retreat near by. The view from the house specially master bedroom is the best. Lots of space. House has everything you would need. Its a newer house and nicely furnished. The place can be difficult to locate in the dark as there is no house number written anywhere but if you follow provided directions its easy. Master bedroom doesn't have curtains so sleeping in late is a bit of an issue.

We enjoyed our stay at A Peak of Heaven. The kitchen was well stocked for breakfast & dinner cooking. The bedrooms were a good size. We had no problem with the paved driveway. Our family enjoyed the gas fireplace while watching movies in the evening.

Just a great company! We had some issues with another rental and had to last minute ask for help. BR was so helpful getting us in the door “after hours” so to speak. Expect magnificent views, downstairs and off the master upstairs. Nature abounds with a clean and sweet home for your stay!

The view from this home is amazing! We spent a long weekend here and entertained another couple with two young children. The deck is perfect for everyone to spend time on, and the view is gorgeous! The stairs to the upper and lower levels are a bit steep, so if there are very young children in the party you will want to be mindful of this. The kitchen has all the basics in terms of cookware that would be needed, as well as a slow cooker which was helpful! However, there were no oils spices or salt or pepper provided. We were somewhat concerned about the steepness of the road and driveway to the property. This turned out not to be a problem even in wet conditions, though in ice or snow or when wet leaves are covering the driveway you would definitely want all wheel drive. There is only room for two vehicles, however, and it is tight. Overall, we highly recommend this property! It is very close to Boone.

We had an outstanding trip! The house was clean, all in order and perfectly located for our early summer adventure.
The house had plenty of space for our family of 5 and our Daschund.
The beds were comfortable and having central AC was a huge plus as it got humid and a bit sticky.
The basement and ping pong were a huge hit!
Only comment I have is that if owners are able to trim a few trees to open the stunning view, that would be great.
We can't wait to go come back.

Very clean. Convenient location. Upon arrival the code for access didn't work, I called the number provided and spoke with a very kind gentleman who had us inside within a minute. Having the basement with the ping pong table was an added bonus and provided such fun for our young adults. Would definitely stay here again.

great stay. wonderful amenities, especially the kitchen. be ready for a drive up to a lovely. it was a bit icy and rainy the time we went so the fog hindered the view but once it cleared up it was spectacular. We loved this cabin! It rained the entire time we were in Boone but it did not matter because this cabin provided so much to do. We played the games provided, watched TV and played a lot of ping pong and could not have been happier. We cooked all of our meals at the cabin and were pleasantly surprised that everything we needed was provided in the kitchen. The cabin was also immaculately cleaned which was greatly appreciated. We hope to return soon!

Great spot! Spacious enough for our family of 6 and our pup. Great views from the deck. The kids loved the ping pong table and adults loved the deck/grill. Very serene. The only two things we didn't care for was that parking our truck was a little tricky and the towels are old and new ones should be purchased for the property. We definitely plan on staying again!

Excellent. Property as described. Well equipped. BRMR very responsive and thorough. Easy/friendly to work with. Welcomed coded door lock so no keys to pickup/return/lose. Property well-maintained. Clean and fresh. Easy drive into Boone using back roads. Good internet service throughout house. Good cable TV service throughout but not HD (or couldn't figure out how to make it HD). All paved roads including newly paved driveway. Back deck nice for cookout and dining. Two suggestions for homeowner - 1. Blinds or shades for master bedroom, 2. Brighter lighting (bulbs seemed to be mostly low watt and/or 130-volt versions including ceiling lights). We would rent again. Three of us. Four would work fine also. Over 4, not so much. Parking for 2 cars would be a challenge.

Such a beautiful property. Had a wonderful time relaxing. Everything was perfect from the property down to the property management company. The only slight inconvenience was a very rude and nosey neighbor. The driveway was also a little difficult as it needs some work (paving would be best). Would stay again!

I found this place using a wonderful local property group called Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. I had two friends from HS where we all are married with small families, and wanted a small reunion for some 40-year old parents! This 3-BR house was perfect for our budget, proximity to mountain attractions and space! Each couple had their own full bathroom, and own bedroom as there were enough beds to sleep 8 people. There were two main "hang-out" areas (three if you include the deck), which was great especially at night when some wanted to go to sleep while others wanted to be night owls. Or during the day when the kids wanted to have one room while the adults spent time in the other. We were all very comfortable for three nights, we did not feel on top of one another and there was enough house to go off on your own to a quiet corner if you wanted to read or work on your laptop. The kids loved the basement game room and the small loft with cable TV and a DVD player. The views are quite nice from the deck, and the Green Egg Grill cooks superb! The agency was one of the best I have ever dealt with. Very motivated to make the customer's stay superb, inquiring to ensure nothing was wrong with our stay. They furnished guides to keep us entertained and fed, maps and directions to keep us from being lost, and housekeeping to where we didn't have to clean but the very basics on our way out the door.

Reservation staff was very helpful and easy to work with. Check-in was a breeze with excellent directions to our rental. We had a small problem with our rental, but their staff came right away and fixed it. Rental was as advertised, clean and well-maintained. Overall, a great experience.
