The Nest was absolutely perfect! It was quiet, comfortable and super convenient to everything.
5 min to Downtown Blowing Rock and 15 min to Boone. Highly recommended staying here and we will definitely be back!!

Absolutely LOVED Nest with a View!! It was so close to downtown, and the views from literally every room were breathtaking. I spent way too much time in the downstairs bathtub THAT ALSO HAS A VIEW!! They brought a brand new refrigerator during our stay, the maintenance guy was lovely and helpful. The kitchen was stocked with a ton of cooking supplies so I could make breakfasts and dinners with no issues. There was even Tupperware for leftovers! I can't recommend this place enough, if I could give more stars I would. I didn't want to leave!

This house was simply wonderful! The inside of the house far exceeded the images. I just loved the rustic, yet modern feel. The beams and wood ceiling are special. The bathrooms and kitchen are updated and well equipped. Beds comfy. OK, now I have to mention the views. Yes that is plural. There are amazing views of the mountains from so many places in the house. You just drink it in from the dining room, kitchen, living room, upper level deck, lower level deck.... I highly recommend this property.

The house was very clean and well stocked with basic items (e.g. toiler paper, towels, etc). The fireplace is also a nice touch. We'd definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nest with a View. The cabin was well appointed and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay that felt like home! We really appreciated all the information in the emails leading up to our stay about location, weather etc., and found it most helpful. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was immaculate. The location was great too and we look forward to returning soon.

Check in and check out was so easy and perfect. Communication was exceptional prior to check in and check out. This cabin is extremely well stocked with kitchen items.
We hated to leave this cabin. We have stayed in a lot of cabins and this was by far the cleanest cabin we have ever been in. The location is perfect!! The view of the mountains as we watched the fog roll by early Saturday morning was magical.
If anything were to be added, we would suggest a small dorm-type refrigerator in the master bedroom downstairs and maybe some vertical blinds on the sliding glass door to the living room.
However, this will not deter us from going back. We are looking forward to our next stay at A Nest With A View. 😊

Clean home with great views. Got to see the sunrise every morning. A little trouble figuring out the living room TV remotes and channels, but wasn’t there to watch TV anyway..
Could have had more trash bags, but fantastic overall. Would definitely go back again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing and the house was in great condition. The only thing I would want to mention is that although I specified 6 people for total staying, they didn't provide enough towels for 6 people. We looked everywhere but they only provided for 4 people. Otherwise I thought this place was wonderful and we enjoyed staying in this house for our mountain trip!

We had a great time. The view is astounding...even better than you imagine from the pictures. The house's additions and modern upgrades are really well done. The path from the driveway to the door is basically flat with only one step if stairs are a concern. Also, the location is perfect...away from traffic but close to the parkway and was pretty centrally located in relation to all the things we wanted to do, so we were able spend more time doing things instead of driving back and forth. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

If you're looking for a whimsical family friendly getaway, this updated round house is the perfect answer. The round house design allowed for optimal mountain views and with only 2 levels, it was ideal for our 2 little ones to run around without fear of them falling down a flight of stairs. The accommodations were more than comfortable and the house had all the amenities to ensure we didn't need to leave the house. If you're lucky enough to be graced with fresh snow as we were, there is a perfect sledding hill just across the street from the house so we didn't have to travel far for some winter fun. Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was a great company to work with and we look forward to returning to the nest with a view for future family trips.

The home was cozy, clean and had gorgeous views of the valley and the mountains. Amazing sun rises. Only suggestion would be to install blinds or curtain panels to block the eastern sun in the morning with that amazing wall of eastern facing windows!

I couldn’t say enough good things about this property! The view is breathtaking, and worth the stay itself! The kitchen is very well stocked and made eating in enjoyable! It is a short drive to hiking, and downtown Blowing stock. Only 15 minutes to Boone. Would definitely recommend it to others.

We rented a Nest With a View for 4 nights. Excellent house, fantastic view. The house was in perfect shape. Blue Ridge rentals was great communicating with us before, during and after our stay. Everything from making the down and final payments to accessing the house through the parakeet door lock was super easy. We didn't have to go anywhere to check in or check out. Your help in navigating the location of a house for a family wedding weekend was invaluable. The location of the house was less than 10 minutes to all of our events. It fit our family of 5 with a small infant and dog perfectly. The knowledge that the two bedroom house really had a third bedroom option in the Murphy bed was a perfect solution for us. Definitely would recommend using Blue Ridge Rentals to anyone.

This is truly the best home we have ever stayed in. The view from the back porch is stunning. I'm a photographer and was able to take beautiful sunrise photographs. We love the rustic feel of the home. The bed was extremely comfortable. The home is only 5-10 minutes away from Blowing Rock and about the same distance to Cone Manor. This was perfect for our family. We loved taking the dogs with us to walk around Bass Lake. The only complaint....if you could call it that....is that the kitchen needs to be restocked with pots and pans. The pans are not nonstick and all of them had burnt on residue, making it difficult to cook anything without burning. There were plenty of dishes and silver ware and glasses. We will certainly come back!

5 Star treatment from Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals! We had a couple maintenance issues, and there was a repairman there within 30 minutes, that's right 30 minutes. Their crew was pleasant & cooperative, and immediately fixed the problem! 5 Star Review for A Nest with a View! It fit our needs perfectly, it was a beautiful place, and peaked our interest in the original Round Houses used to build mountain retreats. It was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, loads of natural light, and the kitchen was equipped with everything one needed for preparing meals. Plus the view was lovely! We'd love to come back!
