A Beary Nice Cabin

Come enjoy “A Beary Nice Cabin” – Your perfect cozy mountain getaway in the outstanding community of Little Bavaria.  This beautiful 3-bedroom mountain retreat offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life while being only a short drive from all the amenities that Boone has to offer.

As you step inside, the main level boasts an open-concept design, seamlessly connecting the living spaces.  The kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and beautiful custom cabinets.  It’s the perfect place to whip up your favorite meals with loved ones and the adjacent dining area is perfect for family gatherings or intimate dinners.  You’ll love to cozy up around the beautiful gas fireplace as laughter is shared. The living room’s vaulted ceilings and large windows bring the outdoors in, creating a sense of tranquility.  A half bath is conveniently located on the main level.  On this level, you’ll also find the primary bedroom—a peaceful sanctuary with a plush king bed and an ensuite bathroom that offers a luxurious soaking tub, a custom tiled shower, and spacious double vanities with granite counters.

Head upstairs to discover more comfort and space.  On the second floor, guests will find the remaining two bedrooms each with their own ensuite bathrooms.  The first offers another king bed, inviting you to rest and rejuvenate.  The final room is ideal for families or friends and offers two separate full beds.  If needed, a final twin bed can be found in the loft.

The magic of “A Beary Nice Cabin” extends beyond its walls.  Imagine soaking in the bubbling hot tub under a star-studded sky. Let the warm water melt away your cares as you listen to the rustling leaves.  Your loved ones will love to gather around the firepit with marshmallows and stories. Roast s’mores, share laughter, and create memories.  Just a 2-minute walk away, Different Drum Lake beckons. Grab your fishing rod and try your luck—this catch-and-release lake promises quiet moments by the water’s edge.

This home is near horseback riding trails, the historic Original Mast Store, the Mast Store Annex, and Valle Crucis Park.  A Beary Nice Cabin is just outside of Boone (10-15 min to Downtown Boone & Appalachian State University - great for visiting college football fans). Convenient location to many Ski resorts (great in all seasons) and quaint nearby towns. 30 minutes or less to Beech Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Appalachian Ski Mountain Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. Just 45 minutes to Watauga Lake - which is great for boating in summer.

IMPORTANT NOTES: 
- This home is pet friendly and allows up to 2 dogs.  Pet rent is $25+tax per night. Mature, well-trained dogs only. Pets other than doges are not permitted.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night. 
- Guests returning to A Beary Nice Cabin will receive a repeat discount. Reach out for more information! 
- 4WD or AWD vehicles are recommended November-April. 
- All BRMR homes offer well-stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple of garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers, crock pots or storage containers. Towels and linens will be provided. 
- All guests staying in Little Bavaria are allowed to fish on the lake in the development. Because that lake is in a private community, you do NOT need fishing licenses, however, it is CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY. 

CANCELLATION POLICY -
Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of he deposit.
Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
