- Dogs welcome for an additional rent of $25/night each. No aggressive breeds, max of 30lbs. Please ask if you are unsure.
-Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax per night. Let us know how many nights you will need.

- Check-in time for this home is 4PM and check-out is 10AM
- Guests returning to Vista View may receive a discount of 5% on the room rate, not to be combined with other discounts to the rent.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

The vista view was a perfect stay for our family! We always include our 2 pups when we go to the mountains. The layout for them was fantastic! They were able to run in the fenced in area without me having to worry about them getting out! The porch also had gates on it so you could contain them to the porch. The beds slept amazing and we had everything we needed to cook our family meals in the kitchen. We had one night that was perfect to have a fire in the fire-pit. It was perfect for gathering around to roast marshmallows and make s’mores. We had one small problem with the air conditioning one night but Amy was helpful in getting us some portable units and it was fixed the next day! I would recommend the Vista view to others and I hope we can stay again one day!

The owners have done an unbelievable job at making sure no stone was unturned for the guests. Such an enjoyable experience. The hot tub was nice and hot, large.... and clean. The game room was a nice, thoughtful addition. We cooked both meals in the home and the kitchen was fully equipped.

The cabin was a nice place to stay for our long weekend get away. We had 5 people staying, the accommodations were great. The dogs loved the yard and deck. Kitchen could use more pots/pans/cookie sheets but we made do with what was provided. The grill did run out of propane after one use and there was no spare that we could find. All in all, it was a nice place to stay minus a few minor issues. If you are traveling with your dogs, it’s a great space for them.

Completely fenced in yard was a bonus. It snowed while we were there, so a little scary driving down the mountain. They did schedule us a snowplow that salted the main drive down the steepest portions of the mountain. Definitely need a 4x4 vehicle when it snows in mountains.

Nice getaway
We are from Florida and wanted a change of scenery in addition to a peaceful and quiet New Year’s Eve. Vista View was perfect for this. We had our 2 dogs who were grateful for the quiet New Year’s Eve as normally they would need to be medicated and hide underneath the bed. We even got a little snow the eve and New Year’s Day which we were quite excited about being Floridians. The cabin was spacious and clean and had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable. The house and decor were beautiful and comfortable. It was the best pet friendly place we’ve ever stayed. The fenced in yard was perfect! We really enjoyed the game room, the fire pit, and outdoor games. The location was quiet and secluded. We definitely plan to return!

Vista View was just what we needed for a memorable relaxing vacation for our family. Beautiful views, plenty of space, and a great layout with bedrooms on all 3 floors. Our dog enjoyed the wrap around porch with gates at each set of steps and large fenced in yard. Perfect porch for coffee in the mornings and grilling in the evenings. We will definitely be back!

Fully fenced yard, which our two boxer dogs loved, along with the full wrap around porch that was perfect for watching sunsets and sunrises. The place was spacious but cozy and beautifully designed. Great WiFi & streaming, even amidst heavy thunderstorms. The water pressure was excellent in the showers and the kitchen is well stocked on cooking pots, kitchen utensils, etc (although you would need to bring anything more than the basic spices, cooking oils, etc). This was one of, if not the best airbnb we stayed in (of over 12-15 each year), and definitely the best and most comfortable for our dogs.

Loved this place! Will definitely return. We went as a couple but would be perfect for multiple couples/multi-generation family because lots of room to spread out and activities built right in! Beautiful pastoral surroundings — felt very private and only 15 minutes to downtown Boone. Comfy bed and well thought out kitchen amenities and tv/streaming options.

Beautiful location. The house was clean and comfortable. Utensils and cookware are excellent and the hot tub was perfect and easy to use. The house was very comfortable and cozy, and also a great jumping off point for some of the amazing local outdoor activities. The dogs loved the yard as well.

Blue Ridge Rentals never disappoints. Vista View cabin was a great place to stay. Close to Grandfather Mountain and Boone. Perfect place if you have pets since there is a fenced-in yard. Nice relaxing view from the hot tub. We would definitely come back.

We had a great and relaxing weekend getaway! The house was super easy to find, close to restaurants and things to do but also secluded enough to feel like you are a world away. It was perfect for your morning cup of coffee on the porch and afternoon dip in the hot tub. Would definitely recommend!!

We had such a lovely family weekend away here! The kids were totally entertained with the game room and my husband and I sat on the porch almost the entire time. Even the weather didn’t damper our stay as we stayed under the overhang and drank our coffee watching the rain roll in. Super fun trails and shops close by for a day trip. We would love to visit again in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was very comfortable. It was really great if you have a dog with the fenced yard. Lots to do- horse shoes, ping pong, shuffle board, grill out and just enjoy the view. We will be back!

Wonderful stay! Very relaxing. The property was just as described. Very clean inside and out, wonderful amenities and very dog friendly. The cabin was private but not secluded. We woke up to a picturesque view of the mountains each morning and saw many deer just across the street. Close to Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. Would definitely stay again and hope to bring our adult children.

Vista View was exactly what we needed for a family get away. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and we took advantage of all the amenities including hot tub, firepit, ping pong, shuffleboard and outdoor grill! (The propane tank was empty but Blue Ridge was prompt in getting us a new one!). Rain kept us inside a good bit playing games, cooking/baking and watching movies, but that was just what we needed. The yard was perfect for our 2 small dogs (be careful of the hole under the fence in the backyard though), and the views when the skies were clear were beautiful. We hope to be back sometime!

Excellent Location, all the comforts of home.
Excellent communication prior, during and in follow-up from our check out. Property is nestled between Boone and Banner Elk. Amazing location, just a hop,skip and a jump to the Mast General. Outdoor fire pit, appreciated the views on the back porch while rocking in the rocking chairs. Indoor fireplace was nice for taking the chill off the morning air. Having 2 Owners Suites was a big plus. Beautiful, fenced in yard, game room…this place has it all!

Wonderful house with great views - very clean and plenty of space for 3 couples. Personally I would make sure to bring a 4WD or AWD vehicle because the drive up the mountain is very steep with tight turns!

Peaceful & Wonderful
We came up for the Highland Games and this was the PERFECT spot for our family! We enjoyed the amenities the house provided and the view was beautiful. We were never bored and really enjoyed our time! The couches were so comfortable and I ended up napping every single time I laid on them. It was well stocked with items in the kitchen for cooking and we didn’t need a thing while we were there.. the hot tub was a DREAM and just perfect for the cooler nights.. we roasted s’mores out by the fire pit and made the best memories. Beautiful, clean and every one enjoyed it!

Game room, hot tub, corn hole, board games, Netflix, fully equipped kitchen, grill on the back deck! We stayed at the cabin for most of our visit! We had a great time with our family, and then after all the fun in the evening, the cabin is large enough for everyone to retreat to their personal space. I love it. The hosts are extremely kind and very easy to communicate with. The cabin is better than described in the listing! Thank you for another memorable family vacation!

Beautiful Cabin
This beautiful cabin sits near the top of a steep winding road. We found it very clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. It had everything we needed - even a crockpot. We spent time between Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain where our adult kids went skiing and snowboarding. The location of this home worked great for this purpose. We really enjoyed the fire pit and game room. The only improvements we’d suggest would be to increase linens (bath towels and kitchen towels). You get only 1 towel per guest. Thankfully there is a full size washer and dryer so the linens were a very minor inconvenience. The management company did a great job of providing check-in and check-out instructions. They stayed in contact making sure we were enjoying stay. Our family had a great time enjoying this cabin and we are picky, lol! If you get a chance to visit this part of North Carolina we highly recommend Vista View.

Great family Getaway!
I hesitate to give it 5 stars- only to keep down its popularity- but it really earned 5 stars. The cabin is comfortable with all the amenities. It is a quiet getaway but not too far from activities. The views of the mountains were inspiring. Kitchen is fully stocked. Furniture is comfortable, clean and cozy. All patios have good comfortable seating and tables for relaxing with coffee or a bowl of soup as you watch the sunset. The extras from wood for fire and s’mores sticks were provided. There are sufficient linen supplies. Check in and out was seamless. Kids loved the game room!

Really nice property with great views
Very nice property. Perfect for smaller party. Really loved the wrap-around deck with mountain views and game room. My only complaints are that the carpets in upper level bedrooms were a bit dingy and bathrooms didn't seem like they were thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. Garbage container outside was also overflowing from previous visitors so there was hardly any room for our trash.

Vista view is the perfect oasis in the woods! Our family is scattered and this was the perfect spot to meet in the middle. We stayed there all weekend, cooked, played games in the rec room, played corn hole, and sat around the fire pit. The house is beautiful and roomy!
