Welcome to South Fork Cabin! This home in Fleetwood is the perfect retreat for couples, small families, or a group of friends visiting North Carolina's "Coolest Corner"! 
 
The living room offers the highly sought after authentic rustic charm that a mountain cabin is supposed to offer. Vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams, a stacked stone wood burning fireplace, and cozy sofas await you for family movie night after an exciting day exploring. The kitchen is complete with KitchenAid appliances, including a gas range. The small island has 4 barstools for quick meals before heading into town. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and offers additional dining space for 4 guests. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, baking dishes, and plenty of utensils. There is also a Keurig coffee maker for guests to use so be sure to pack your favorite K-Cups!
 
South Fork Cabin offers 3 main bedrooms, one on the main level, one upstairs and one on the lower level.  
The upper cabin offers queen bed’s while the lower level offers 2 twin bunks with cheerful table and chair set plus a few comfy beanbag chairs to relax in. 
The large open loft upstairs offers a queen bed as well. Guests in the loft will share a bathroom with those in the upstairs bedroom.  A loft room divider provides moderate privacy.
 
Outside you'll find over 1,000 square feet of covered & uncovered deck space. Perfect for grilling and entertaining while enjoying the cool summer evenings. The 2-seater hot tub on the deck is the perfect way to relax after a fun day kayaking on the nearby New River!

Furry family members can stretch their legs in the enclosed area in the backyard. Lastly, grab the S'mores and head over to the fire pit and swing! Enjoy star gazing and telling your favorite campfire stories with family. South Fork Cabin truly is a special place to make memories to last a lifetime!
 
Downtown West Jefferson is only a short drive away. Here you can find tons of shopping, great dining options, as well as many historic attractions. Visit Churches of the Frescoes, one of West Jefferson's most visited attractions! Or, for guests that wish to spend their days outdoors, head to Mount Jefferson State Park and admire the stunning long range mountain views. Nearby, Elk Shoals New River State Park offers a sandy beach, calm waters and family-friendly atmosphere for swimming, wading and tubing. Boone and Blowing Rock are also nearby, about a 15-30 minute drive. If heading to Blowing Rock, take the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway and stop at one of the many overlooks for an awesome family photo!
 
For Peloton users, a bike with Shimano SPD-SL cleats is provided downstairs. 

Additional notes:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers.
- Guests are expected to come prepared with AWD or 4Wd vehicles in the winter months.
- This home is pet friendly!  Pet rent is $25/night per dog plus tax. 
- Full time residents are nearby. Please respect the 10PM quiet hour.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

We stayed here for our 1st Thanksgiving in NC! The house had everything we could possibly need for cooking and making us feel at home. The fenced in backyard kept our pup super happy. The hot tub was the cherry on top. Would absolutely book here again!

Beautiful cabin! At last min we had to change cabins, Rodena with Blue Ridge made that an easy process. What south fork lacked mountain views it made up for in cleanliness and beautiful accommodations— this cannon had everything. The cabin was modern yet rustic, super clean and charming. We loved the outdoor fence for our little dog and the hot tub, even though it was a rainy day.

My wife and I loved our Memorial Day Weekend stay at South Fork Cabin. The cabin was immaculately prepared and was everything we needed for our family. The location was perfect for exploring Ashe and Watauga counties. The fenced-in back yard was a delight for our pups and for us as we were able to relax on the expansive back deck in comfortable outdoor furniture. Blued Ridge Rentals provided excellent communication before and during our stay. We would highly recommend the cabin for your visit to the NC High Country!

South Fork Cabin was the perfect stay for my daughter, myself and my dog. The fenced in yard was such a plus. The wrap around porch was great. We spent hours outside. The front porch swing was great most of the time it was shaded. The guest garden was a nice surprise, enjoyed the tomatoes. It's a great location, 15 min to W. Jefferson. I enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen was so well stocked and the beds very comfortable. We stayed a week and one extra day. We would have extended our stay longer but had to get back to work. The Blue Ridge Rentals staff is very friendly and efficient.

Comfy log home escape.
Very comfortable home, well equipped. Big living room fire place. My family of 5 hosted a dinner for 11 and the home had plenty of open space to entertain. Only wish was for more towels, a few starter coffee pods with creamer and sugar packets, and a couple laundry pods. Would stay again!

This little cabin is great. We had a small group up here for the weekend to relax and enjoy the mountains, and the cabin was perfect for it. The whole place was clean and the kitchen was easy to use. Very dog friendly, too. Will definitely be back!

Perfect relaxation cabin!
We came up here for a weekend away, with the intention of doing absolutely nothing except relaxing, and that’s exactly what we achieved. This cabin was the perfect place to unwind, relax in the hot tub or in front of the fire, and play games as a family. The cabin was clean, extremely well stocked, and very cozy. The huge fenced in yard was amazing and my dog and stepson played outside together for hours. We had a wonderful time, and have decided to make this an annual trip. The communication and flexibility from the property manager was outstanding as well!
