Welcome to Copper Cabin!
Fly-fishing just out your back door—this beautifully updated 3-bedroom, 2-bath log cabin combines rustic mountain charm with modern comforts for the perfect retreat. Set on over 2 acres with direct frontage on scenic Cove Creek, Copper Cabin is a private, peaceful getaway where you can unwind to the sound of rushing water, cast a line, or simply relax in the fresh mountain air.
The open-concept living area features vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and a striking stone fireplace that sets a cozy tone. Mountain-modern finishes make the space warm and inviting, whether you’re gathered around the fire on a cool evening or sharing a meal at the dining table.
On the main level, the primary king suite offers direct deck access along with a private entrance to the spacious bathroom, complete with a tiled shower featuring a waterfall showerhead and handheld wand. Upstairs in the loft, you’ll find a second king bedroom tucked beneath soaring ceilings, a serene spot for rest after a day of mountain adventures. The lower-level king suite adds even more room to spread out, with a large TV, desk workstation for remote work, and a laundry center. This level also provides direct access to the hot tub and firepit—perfect for ending the day under the stars.
The outdoor spaces are just as inviting as the indoors. Sip coffee on the covered, main-level deck, stretch out in the bubbling hot tub, gather around the firepit, or wander the wide grassy yard that gently slopes to the bubbling stream. With so many ways to relax and play, Copper Cabin brings the best of the High Country right to your doorstep.
And when it’s time to explore, you’re just 15 minutes from downtown Boone and Appalachian State University, about 35 minutes to Watauga Lake, and within easy reach of Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain ski resorts. Thanks to its paved, state-maintained road access and central heat and air, the cabin is easy to enjoy year-round.
Whether your plans include fishing, hiking, skiing, or simply slowing down by the water, Copper Cabin is the mountain escape you’ve been waiting for.
