Welcome to Calico Haven, your dream getaway in the Blue Ridge Mountain Club—a newly built, thoughtfully designed home that combines sleek modern comfort with the serenity of the mountains. This three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath escape is flooded with natural light and framed by long-range mountain views, offering a peaceful, luxurious retreat in one of North Carolina’s most stunning locations.

On the main level, you’ll find a spacious open layout perfect for gathering. The kitchen features quartz countertops, custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, a large center island, and everything needed for preparing your favorite dishes. Just off the kitchen is a dining area.  With seating for 8 at the dining table and additional seats at the counter just a few feet away, it's ideal for sharing meals and making memories with all your friends and family. The main level living space invites relaxation, with a large sectional sofa and additional seating arranged around a cozy gas log fireplace and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. The windows and two sets of double sliding doors showcase the sweeping mountain landscape, connecting you to the grandeur of the high country.  The main level deck is designed with tranquility and gathering in mind.  Enjoy your favorite cup of coffee or glass of wine as you look over the breathtaking view.  On warm summer nights, you’ll love sharing meals around the outdoor dining table, and nothing will top the great conversations you’ll have around the deck’s wood fireplace on crisp autumn evenings under the stars.

Upstairs, there are two luxurious king suites. The primary suite offers a private covered balcony with breathtaking views.  This suite spares no comfort, offering a large smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a custom-tiled shower and a quartz double vanity. The second suite mirrors this comfort with its own smart TV and beautifully appointed ensuite bath featuring another tiled shower and double vanity, making it perfect for couples or friends traveling together.

The lower level of the home is all about fun and flexibility. A cozy lounge area features a sleeper sectional sofa, a flat-screen TV, and a raised twin bed that’s great for kids or extra guests. This level includes a foosball table, a mounted arcade cabinet, LEGO, board games, and toys for children, creating a space that will delight guests of all ages. Two more sets of sliding doors open onto another luxurious deck, where a private hot tub awaits—perfect for unwinding after a day of hiking or exploring. The third bedroom is located on this level as well, offering a comfortable queen bed and a desk, ideal for remote work or quiet reading. A full bath with a shower/tub combo and a spacious quartz vanity rounds out the space, making it perfect for families.

**Please note that the advertised maximum occupancy is based on community regulations requiring a maximum advertising of two adults per bedroom. Homes with bunk rooms, lofts, or additional sleeping areas may be able to accommodate slightly larger family groups with children under the care of accompanying adults. Calico Haven can accommodate 6 adults in the king and queen bedrooms and 2 children on the living room bunk.

Blue Ridge Mountain Club Construction Notice: 
BRMC is an up-and-coming community, and many homes are currently under construction. Construction noise may be audible from the home. Per the neighborhood's Architectural Review Guidelines, construction will be ongoing Monday through Thursday from 7am to 7pm, Friday from 7am to 5pm, and quiet interior work on Saturdays from 8am to 5pm. Construction is NOT allowed on Sundays and the 7am hour is for quiet interior work throughout the week. New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day will not have construction. Once reserved, guests will not be moved due to construction noise as it has been disclosed. 

Please read before booking:
All guests must go to the North Gate of BRMC to check in and will receive directions to the house in their arrival packet from the gate. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the North Gate closing for the day (see details below).

The current gate hours are as follows:
Monday - Friday: 7am - 6pm
Saturday - Sunday: 8am - 9pm

A call box is available for guests arriving after hours, which will grant temporary access. Guests will need to visit the North Gate the following morning to collect your arrival packet. If you know you will arrive later than 8:45pm, please contact the North Gate Team before arrival during open hours at 828.265.5065. 

ADDITIONAL NOTES :
- Check in is after 4pm and Check out is by 10am EST
- There is paved parking at this home. Parking is limited to two standard vehicles.
- This home is not pet friendly.  Thanks you for not bringing any pets to this home
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months. 
- All stays at the Blue Ridge Mountain Club have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Firewood may be added at the time of booking or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You receive two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
- Returning for another stay at Calico Haven?  Be sure to book with our team and let them know.  Returning guests can receive 10% off all future stays, not to be combined with any other discount or special.
- UTV Rentals: Available exclusively through Appalachian UTV. Rentals can be booked online at https://appalachianutv.com/ . Rental pickups are located at the Meadows Pool. NOTE: Guests may not bring UTV's, ATV's, or Dirt bikes to BRMC during their visit. Only UTV's available for rent from Appalachian UTV are permitted. 

CANCELLATION POLICY -
Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to any refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
