Visited “2 Cubs Cabin”, in Blowing Rock, over New Year’s week.
Very comfy house. Everything matched the pictures & descriptions.
The 3 levels provide great privacy amongst a bigger group, and/or allow a smaller family to have their own space (when they’ve
had enough of eachother, haha). Each floor has its own full bathroom. And the bedrooms were spacious.
We used both the kitchen & outdoor grill, and everything worked just fine.
The hot tub was a nice perk, as was the outdoor firepit with the ad chairs.
Very private house…feels like you are in your own space with your own yard & forest…but also didnt feel completely isolated (there’s 3 houses visible, at a distance, from 2 Cubs).
The 1 thing to note: would highly rec checking into the house during daytime…that first time getting to know the area / first drive up to the house…can be confusing / bit tricky at night time. But it’s fine afterwards, once you
get the hang of it.
Happy with our stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We had a wonderful time. Arrived at night so it was little adventurous in arriving but it was fine once we got there.. Spent time at Tweetsie and downtown Boone. Restaurants were very close and we had some great food every night. We also loved the pool table and hot tub. Our little girls loved that too! We'd definitely return! Very nice cabin with all we needed in it.

The place was a perfect hub for my daughter‘s graduation. The owners communicated clearly and thoroughly at every step. We loved the view off all the porches and especially loved the fire pit. The Weber grill looked brand new and we made good use of it. As we were drinking our coffee eight deer passed right in front of us. We love the place.

We'll definitely stay here again. The house layout was perfect for 4 adults/5 kids and we all enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and ping pong. It was a 10 minute drive to App skiing and convenient to Blowing Rock restaurants.

We loved this cabin b/c you feel secluded on a mtn top but you're right off 321 about 5 minutes from Blowing Rock and Boone. You're walking distance to trails and trout fishing. We loved the hot tub, fire pit, pool table, ping pong table, hammock and views. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you need including nice bedding. The beds are comfortable and TV's in every room. We hope to visit again!!

We took our older kids skiing for a 3 day trip. The cabin is spacious and comfy. It's well stocked with cookware but we are lazy and ate out. We enjoyed the comfort and relaxing time. We will be back next year.

We had a great stay with our group of couples in town for the Luke combs concert. The house had everything we needed and it was a super close drive into boone. Our only complaint was the WiFi wasn’t working our second day and we didn’t have good cell reception at the house.

The space inside was perfect. The flow from room to room was great, we were never running over one another. Plenty of sitting in the living and dining areas to accommodate everyone. The bedrooms were spacious as well as all the bathrooms. We also really enjoyed the pool table and hot tub in the evenings. There were so many special touches like board games and crayons for coloring and the decor was pleasant and plentiful. Communication was easy and we were even granted a 1pm check out at a late request. Very much appreciated especially with Springing forward in time. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful home with us!! We will absolutely be back in the future.

Very pleased with our stay. The cabin is directly between Blowing Rock and Boone and very accessible. You totally get the rustic secluded feel but are minutes away from both towns. The space inside was perfect. The flow from room to room was great, we were never running over one another. Plenty of sitting in the living and dining areas to accommodate everyone. The bedrooms were spacious as well as all the bathrooms. We also really enjoyed the pool table and hot tub in the evenings. There were so many special touches like board games and crayons for coloring and the decor was pleasant and plentiful. Communication was easy and we were even granted a 1pm check out at a late request. Very much appreciated especially with Springing forward in time. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful home with us!! We will absolutely be back in the future.

Wonderful cabin, very clean, great amenities! The hot tub was awesome! We didn't have any issues and had an wonderful time! The house does not offer a Mountain View but it is a beautiful home for a family to enjoy some great times! We played ping pong, pool, cooked together and loved our time together. Thank you!!

Excellent house with huge wrap around decks and plenty of space for the entire family. The kitchen is well equipped and they offer the house sparkling clean for guests to enjoy. We loved the hot tub, very very clean, spacious and with plenty of massage jets for anyone to feel very very relaxed. We loved playing ping pong and the pool table was a hit also! The house is warmly decorated and it makes one feel totally at home. I definitely recommend it!!

The cabin was really clean and spacious. New appliances, brand new grill, everything you could possibly need for a great trip. There are a lot of little touches the owner has added that a hugely convenient that you don't even think about. The owner has definitely put some thought into it. Location was great. 5 mins to boone, 5 minutss to blowing rock. Only a couple minor maintenance issues but they have been reported and the management company was addressing them. Thanks for a great stay! Foot note, for winter I could see how the steep entry to the drive way would require the 4 x 4 .they mention.

This charming house was approximately 10 minutes from the entrance of the Blue Ridge Parkway which meant easy access to tons of hiking and beautiful scenery. The house was beautifully decorated in mountain style and had everything we needed to be comfortable. There were three levels so we had room to be together but spread out (anyone with teenagers knows how important this is). My youngest daughter had her own suite in the basement; my husband and I were on the main level; and my oldest daughter and her friend shared the upstairs. The decor was so cozy and inviting. My only (very minor) suggestion would be for the owners to clear a shelf or two in the pantry. We brought lots of food but there was little room to store it in pantry. However the refrigerator was completely empty with plenty of room. The jacuzzi also needed a little attention as the jets didn't seem to work very well but it was a minor complaint. While we were there, we had a connection problem with the internet. We called and within minutes, someone was there taking care of what was a very easy fix. Overall, I would highly recommend the house. It was a great location....close to golf for my husband and Blue Ridge Parkway for my girls and I for hiking. We had a great time!

Charming and convenient to Boone and ski slopes. This house helped make our short weekend wonderful. Everything was clean, well stocked, and perfect for more than one family. This place has something special for everyone. The ceiling fans and some high places needed to be dusted, but hey... whose ceiling fans don't? We would recommend to anyone and hope we can stay again.

Excellent location! Plenty of privacy but only a short distance to town and skiing! Would def recommend. Home was wonderful, well furnished and accommodated 7 easily from ages 48 to 11.

Property was ready upon arrival. It was clean inside, the porch and porch furniture was a little dirty but inside was nice. Our family had a great time in the hot tub and hanging out on the porch. We used the pool table and ping pong table and had a great time. It was our last parents weekend at ASU with our senior and his friends.

The refrigerator wasn’t working properly and they sent out someone to fix it at 9:30 in the evening when we called. He was quick, friendly, and had the fridge up and running again in no time! The home was beautiful as well! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at 2 Cubs Cabin right outside Boone and Blowing Rock. Very convenient to hiking and stores. It was a spacious house that slept 8-9 people easily. The kitchen was very well stocked in every way. We had an issue with the hot tub but it was fixed immediately. Outdoor fire pit was wonderful and great setting for day and night burning! The place was very tidy and clean and would highly recommend staying here! We definitely would love to rent it again.

This was a great cabin for our family to spend a wonderful week in the mountains. We would come back but I think I finally convinced my wife to start to look at places of our own. We love the area. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable. You can tell that it is well cared for. The only thing I would add is that having kids that wake up early and staying upstairs means that those in the master bedroom will also get up early. Not a big deal for us but thought others may want that tip. Thanks for sharing the place with us!
