This home is absolutely gorgeous! Being close to a lot of the amenities in the camp was perfect. Walking distance to tennis Pickleball and basketball as well as hiking made it the perfect weekend. The house is decorated beautifully and it is fully equipped with dinnerware and cooking utilities. The two king size beds on one floor with a huge deck with views on the back was a bonus. We've stayed at other wonderful houses within the camp and it's definitely one of the larger houses. The Glass sliding doors off of both bedrooms onto the deck made it very private. We will definitely stay here again.!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was the perfect size for our family - plenty of room to have space when needed, but cozy enough that we had to spend time together. The drive up the mountain takes ~ 15 min after you get through the gated entrance. There was a heavy snow and we actually had to get snow chains to get up and down safely - with 4WD. That being said, they did an excellent job at clearing the roads in the neighborhood the next day - and they continued to work on the roads through the day. We were so appreciative. Of note - the "back road" to Beech Mountain was not an option while we were there. There was actually caution tape to prevent people from traveling on it - again likely for safety :) Hopefully this will open soon as I can see this cutting down on travel time from the community to Beech Mountain. (editors note - The road was briefly closed for road repairs in early January, 2025)

Our July 4th stay at 2 Bears was great. The cabin was well appointed and exceptionally clean, and the community activities included some of the best fireworks that we have seen, two live concerts in the neighborhood, and plenty of good food. The cabin is an easy walk to the pickleball courts and a nice playground, and it's a short drive to Great Camp and North Pavilion for weekly gatherings and other community amenities. We also noticed that there is a hiking trailhead and the West Bowl UTV trail within walking distance. The twin over queen bed arrangement in the second bedroom was perfect for our two kids, who don't usually share a bedroom. We found the cabin comfortable and just the right size for our family of four for a week's stay.

We had a great stay at 2 Bears Retreat! Even though we saw more clouds than sun this trip, the location of the home was perfect. We also loved that there were built in steps to get up and down the hill behind the home. The kids always love the proximity to the awesome playground. The views this time of year were stunning, too!

We had a great time at this property and the Eagle's Nest community! It was a great bonus that the property had sleds there as we had a snowstorm while we were there. So fun!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week during our stay at Eagles Nest. The home was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. The check in & out process was seamless. The folks at Blue Ridge Mountain rentals were extremely helpful and accommodating. We look forward to using the service next time.

Super easy process. Getting into the house and keeping it secure throughout the weekend was easy. We attended the concert at the pavilion on Saturday night--what a fabulous experience!

Beautiful property nestled in Eagles Nest. The beds were so comfortable, first time away that I slept as well as I do at home! My husband loves to cook, it was a chefs dream range. All amenities were well thought of and made our families stay so nice! Definitely will return! Property is amazing as well with so many amenities!

The listing doesn't do it justice. The place is way more spacious than it seems in the photos and the mountain views from the balcony are breathtaking.

Our stay at 2 Bears Retreat was a treat! The house is beautiful inside and out. Very cleaning and perfectly decorated. The view from the balcony is beautiful. It gets pretty dark at night so seeing the stars was outstanding. It's pretty quiet in the evenings and we were able to catch a glimpse of wildlife. A few highlights on what we did that helped us tremendously. Recommend buying groceries and supplies before checking in. Due to the location, it does take you a bit to get to the house. It is doable but it was nice to not have to leave. You may want to bring camp chairs, as there were only boulders and logs for seating around the fire. We had brought our own outdoor blankets and used them to sit on. Recommend bringing all that you need for a fire. We brought 9 bundles and firestarter from (Lowes) which was plenty for our 3 nights. There is a boulder stair and gravel walking path down to the fire pit. In all was such a great trip, will definitely be back.

We had an incredible week's stay in NC. The cabin “2 Bears Retreat” we rented through Blue Ridge Rentals was perfect. All transactions were seamless and all staff were very helpful. Just ask for Lexi. She is awesome! Will rent through them again.
