We're back at the '1 Million Dollar View' cabin for our second visit, and it's still one of our favorite getaways! This cabin offers a breathtaking view that's simply stunning! It's the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort; cozy, warm, and inviting, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
The surrounding area is a nature lover's paradise, with several trails and adventures to explore. We visited Grandfather Mountain, checked out the swinging bridge, and took in the stunning views.
But even if you decide to stay in, this cabin's got you covered. The game room's a blast, with a pool table, air hockey and TV. The media room has video consoles, another TV and plenty of board games to keep you entertained. The cabin's amenities are top-notch, with a fully equipped kitchen, plush furnishings, and a hot tub to soak in the views.

Our stay at One Million Dollar View was great. The house was as described and had plenty of room. The upstairs bedroom suite was very nice as our son was traveling with us and this gave him his own little space. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

This cabin is worth every penny. I am not sure that there is a better view of the mountains out there! The home was clean and well equipped and the host was very responsive. Banner elk is just a very short drive away with good food and coffee! The fenced yard was an added bonus for our furbabies!

Million dollar view doesn't do it justice! Private nooks and crannies throughout and the kids love the pool table and air hockey. We loved it! High Country UTV was awesome as well

My family enjoyed our time at Million Dollar View. It was the perfect spot for a wedding at White Crow. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. Although we did not spend much time at the home, it was a wonderful retreat and we wished we could have stayed longer.

This was our second visit to the 1 Million Dollar View Cabin. First time was in the winter with the beautiful snow all around. Now we enjoyed it in the summer, it was like a whole new experience. The morning views as the sun rises allows you to actually sit above the clouds, this is truly a sight to see. If you are lucky enough, you just may catch a close up view of a small black bear in the forest while sipping on your morning coffee on the balcony like we did. On the inside, this cabin definitely caters to foodies, it is stocked with everything and anything you need to prepare the perfect meal. Positive energy is all around as you are at one with nature. Minutes away you will find the Church of the Holy Cross and nestled just behind it is the most wonderful hiking trail which leads to an amazing waterfall. (We left the history and walking tour brochure at the cabin for you). The location of this property is majestic and a must visit for all 4 seasons to appreciate everything it has to offer. The 1 Million Dollar View cabin definitely lives up to its name, but it also offers a lot more. For example, we didn't realize how much fun it is to have a separate cinema room with his/her recliners and free HDMI ports to plug in our Roku. Although we spent the majority of our time on the wonderful porch--reading and enjoying nature, including seeing a small black bear who popped by for a brief visit--having a cinema room to retreat to in the evenings was a lot of fun.
Although we didn't use them, the cabin also provided pool and air hockey tables, which would be great fun for the kiddies.
All in all, it is a wonderful spot and would be perfect for a family get-together or a group of friends looking to escape the hustle-and-bustle of city life.

Very pretty view off the back of the house (visible from the sofa next to the sliding glass doors and the upstairs bedroom) and from the hot tub. Helped to have the pool table and games available. Log cabin so very dark inside, even with lamps, so was tough to read. Takes about 25 minutes to get to either Sugar or Beach resorts. No snow while we were there but definitely understand the requirement of 4WD/AWD (road to get to the house is gravel and very steep).

We arrived to the Million Dollar View the day after the massive winter storm ahead of Christmas 2022. With our AWD we were able to safely make it to the cabin despite the conditions. We never lost power or water which was rare and in the area at the time, and we were quite thankful. With the awful conditions the whole rental community struggled. When we arrived at 6 pm, the cleaner was still there. After some awkward time trying not to make a mess and get in her way she finished. I'm sure that had something to do with the less than stellar cleaning of the cabin. Discovered left items under the couch and lots of dust balls and dirt.( discovered after my dog lost his ball under the couch) The house was as advertised with the view being nothing less than a million dollar. With different outside sections of the porch there were plenty of seating options. Sadly with the sub zero temperatures, we were not able to enjoy it. The hot tub was great with working jets. The theater room had a nice area for separation if needed and multiple different video game systems. Enjoyed the game room with pool and air hockey. Loved the extra attention for the pets with bowls, beds and balls. Be careful as the gates around the porch are missing some bars so our dog quickly escaped before we realized that.

The view is absolutely amazing. A clear view of the mountains can be had anywhere on the deck, from one downstairs bedroom window, and from the upstairs master suite. This is 80% of the reason to stay here. Another advantage is the layout: There are three general inside areas where people can congregate--the main fireplace/dining room, a movie theater room with wrap-around couch, and a rec room. I played guitar and sang my lungs out in the rec room with the door closed and my wife could not hear a thing in the main room (which is good). We will definitely consider coming here again to enjoy this incredible view and listen to birds while sipping a cocktail.

Clean, comfortable, and luxurious wrapped into one. The living areas were grand, the rooms had everything you needed. The outdoor areas starting with views were the best we have ever seen. Having experienced other stays in the NC mountains, nothing comes close to the expansive and gorgeous sunrises we enjoyed here. It should be renamed the Billion Dollar View! In addition, the Blue Ridge mountain rental personnel were exceptional. Very quick and friendly to reply to questions and offered assistance with the driveway ice just as fast. We have found our home away from home and will be back again. We highly recommend staying at 1 Million Dollar View Cabin and Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals.

Property is private. There are a few neighbors but not right on top of you. View is beautiful as advertised. The house is laid out a bit odd, but it's perfect if you have kids or teens that want to be off by themselves in a different part of the home.

Wonderful cabin, and we had a great time! We have stayed at many cabins through BRMR and this our favorite so far. Our two springer spaniels loved that this house was pet friendly. 😊 Not only was it very private yet close to town and trails, but the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook with. We will definitely be coming back and can't recommend it enough.

Excellent rental just in time for peak season! The view was incredible and the house was clean and very well stocked with kitchen items as well as plenty of towels (even for the hot tub)! Loved that our furry friends could join us and that the house had ample dog bowls and raised beds for them to use as well! We had an absolute blast and would definitely recommend this house to rent!

WOW. This is for sure more than a 1 million dollar view! The drive up to the cabin was beautiful, but when we entered the cabin we were completely speechless. The entire cabin was very clean, organized, and beautifully decorated. It is a perfect log cabin for families, couples, friends, or absolutely everything. I was so impressed by all the little details that went into this cabin with its home-like feeling. They even had a game room!! The game room had air-hockey, a pool table, and some awesome speakers to play your favorite music. The cabin was amazing, and the beds were very comfy. But, the porch was the show-stopper. The porch is the length of the house, and has absolutely everything you need outside. From two different tables and chairs, to lounge chairs to watch the sunrise (THE BEST SUNRISE EVER), a fire-pit, and a hot tub (which let me tell you, is best when its 8 degrees and snowing!). The cabin is very dog friendly, with some dog bowls, leashes, and a small fenced in yard. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, and they have tons of board games you can play! One of my favorite touches was the guest book where you can sign your name, date, and some comments. You can really tell the owners are very friendly, and love this house as much as the people who stay there. While we spent most of the time in the beautiful cabin, we also explored the town a bit. I would 100% recommend Banner Elk Winery which is about 8 minutes away from the cabin, as well as Stone Wall Restaurant. My boyfriend even found this cabin to be the perfect location to propose to me!! I cannot wait to spend more time and take some more trips to this cabin, as I would recommend the 1 Million Dollar View to everyone and anyone. I came back from vacation so relaxed, and not wanting to leave. Thank you so much to Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals for making this vacation so unforgettable!!

This cabin far exceeded our expectations! There was a small group of six of us and two dogs that stayed here very comfortably. We arrived on Thursday and left on Monday. We brought lots of food and didn’t leave the cabin once until Sunday for brunch.
The views from this cabin are breathtaking! This cabin is so pet friendly, they have a variety of dog bowls and even some toys in case you forgot something for your fur baby. They even left a business card for the local vet in the unlikely event you need something. The master bedroom is very comfortable and the deck that leads out to the backyard is good for taking pictures and looking at the view any time of the day or night.
The only issue we encountered (which was nobody’s fault) was the pipes in the master bathroom froze one morning. Once it warmed up a little, everything was fine.
This cabin was so cozy, it was exactly the getaway we all needed. It was definitely a great recharge. This cabin literally had everything you would ever need - plates, glasses, silverware, dishwasher, washer and dryer, a vacuum (to help keep it clean during your stay), the dog bowls and toys and even books and magazines to read.
I would definitely stay at this cabin again without a second thought. Thank you for having us!

1 Million Dollar View was AMAZING! Very clean, very organize and very cozy! A lot of soft blankets, a lot of seating areas, and a lot of room if you have a big family. The game room and theater room were a big hit for the kids. The fenced in yard really helps if you have dogs. Beautiful home with everything that you could want. We booked 1 Million Dollar View last minute, and we were so lucky it was available. It was very private, and we made a point of waking up every morning to see the sunrise. The view was amazing. The media room was perfect for watching movies. They had several gaming systems, and even had an Atari for our inner 80's kids! We used the hot tub, the fire pit, the pool table, and the air hockey table, and all were in excellent condition. We had to force ourselves to leave the cabin! We will be back for sure.

We headed to this property for my wife's birthday with a few of our close friends. The plan was initially to grill, relax, hike, bike, kayak, and sleep in. We awoke the first morning around 6am to one of the most beautiful sunrises I have ever seen! Needless to say, we didn't sleep in one morning with this amazing view. The amenities were awesome, friends played billiards, air hockey, enjoyed the hot tub, grilled and indulged in a cocktail while drinking in the setting sun. We had our four legged friends with us and they enjoyed the fenced in side yard and some comfy dog beds that we set on the deck for them to take in the fresh air, it was impossible to get them inside at night they loved it so much! The area was great for all outdoor activities and there was a great restaurant nearby that serves amazing food and drinks called Artisanal. The long and short is that there are millions of great things to do in the area, the problem is...you have to peel yourself away from that view!!

This cabin is a wonderful escape from the fast pace of everyday life, on a secluded road with few neighbors and a *spectacular* view, it offers a sense of privacy, peace and tranquility that is difficult to find.
The cabin itself offers all the modern amenities you can ask for to live and entertain you and your family or guests: high speed internet, satellite tv, fully stocked kitchen (including an espresso maker, very important!), board games, a game room with pool and air hockey, video games, plenty of movies on dvd, a hot tub, fire pit, and bbq grill. Along with ample space for everyone to feel as though they have their own place to spread out with a unique layout that divides the cabin into 3 large sections, living and dining, den/office/game room, and secluded 2nd floor master bedroom with ensuite and balcony.
But, the real star of the show here is the view from the main cabin balcony. A majestic sight of rolling mountains and foggy clouds forming in the valleys below you creates a sense of wonder that defies explanation. This wondrous feeling extends to the nighttime hours, when the symphony of insect sounds from the woods connects you to the nature and life all around you, yet hidden from sight. The fast moving clouds and moonlight create a stunning dance, and occasionally some lightning in the distance creates beautiful visual effects over the distant mountains. Early on in the evening, the cloud cover is typically less and during the clear, cloudless moments you can see the outline of the Milky Way with the naked eye. The main cabin balcony is also a great spot to capture sunrise photos because it's facing east and the sun rises over the mountains just beyond the valley below, it's truly an amazing sight just to behold on its own but if you enjoy photography of that sort it's a wonderful location.
The three bedrooms are all comfortable and well appointed, the bedroom at the front of the cabin offers the same amazing view as the main balcony, but be warned that it gets bright early, I would recommend this for early risers. The second bedroom is tucked away behind the living area and offers more darkness later into the day, better for those who like to sleep in. The master bedroom offers the best of both, the blinds create great darkness for sleeping in, but the windows allow plenty of light in if so desired and also offer the same view as the main balcony over the length of the cabin, a view you can also take in from the elevated balcony attached to the bedroom. All the beds were comfortable to sleep in, each room had a tv so that everyone can watch whatever they'd like without fighting over the programming.
The living area offers a large couch in front of the wood burning fireplace and a separate pull out sofa, along with plenty of books to read in a very cozy armchair which I thought was a very nice touch. The dining room table seats 8, and the picnic table along with the high top table on the balcony has space for 10. The den where the media is located & the game room both have doors that can be closed so as not to bother each other with loud noises while others are trying to sleep or relax, perfect for kids or adults who behave like kids. The cabin is also dog friendly with food bowls and even an outdoor lounger for your four legged friend.
I highly recommend visiting this cabin and taking in the 1 Million Dollar view for yourselves!
