Upta Beech

Welcome to Upta Beech! Just minutes from Beech Ski Resort, this home boast beautiful long-range views from inside and out. 

Views abound from nearly every room of the house. Enter to the open floor on the main level with a nicely updated kitchen. Granite counters and island offer space to cook for everyone. The dining is conveniently located off the kitchen, and surrounded by windows. Guests can sit in the living room and tend to a woodburning fire, or stream a movie with the high speed internet. Speeds at this home can support all members streaming or video conferencing, in case you need to bring some school or work with you. Two Queen bedrooms are located on the main level with a full bathroom in the hallway between the two.  This bath has a combination tub/shower, perfect for soaking or washing the littles. A pocket door allows you to create a two bedroom suite for privacy.

Upstairs, you'll find a deck in the loft nook, overlooking the living room and wall of windows. Further down is a large king bedroom with one wall opening to the loft. Guests of this room have direct access to the full bathroom with a shower. This bathroom has doors to separate two powder rooms-- one for the king bedroom, and one side accessed from the hallway. Nearby is the fourth bedroom with a twin bed and trundle that can be lifted to create a king sized bed.

The lowest level of the house has a deep, wide garage that can hold 1 vehicle, or up to 6 motorcycles. Guests visiting during ski season will surely appreciate having a place to store wet ski equipment - there's even a ski rack on the wall! The grounds include a chiminea for a small, evening fire.

Guests traveling with larger groups may also check availability at the home next door, Mount Hoya.

Upta Beech comes with the ability to request Beech Mountain Club membership privileges (Beech Mountain Club access fees apply-currently only allowing a transfer of membership. Please inquiry prior to booking, if wanting to use the club). The club has a gorgeous private 18-hole, ridge-top golf course featuring spectacular views of mountain ranges in North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. 10 clay tennis courts, outdoor heated swimming pool, pickleball and a wonderful fitness facility. These activities are seasonal. The Club's expansive recreation program covers everything from art classes to mountain hikes and provides wonderful dining options with unbelievable mountain views. From mid-June until August, you'll find age-specific day camps and in the colder months, there's a winter clubhouse and private ski lodge on the slopes of Beech Mountain Resort.

- The home does not have AC, but it situated atop Beech Mountain.
- Security Cameras are used to monitor the exterior of the home. No cameras are pointed inside.
- Motorcyclists welcome. Flat driveway along a paved road.
- Thirteen steps are needed to access the main level of this home.
- Firewood may be added at the time of booking under "Additional Fees" after entering payment info or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
- Check In is after 4pm. Check Out is by 10am.
- Please leave all ski equipment (boots, skis, poles, and boards) in the garage.
