With beautiful long range mountain views, a hot tub, an outdoor fireplace, seating and TV all on the spectacular deck, the outside is just as comfortable as the inside at Cedar Wood Lodge. It is an obvious choice for those looking to maximize their time enjoying the great outdoors. Stepping inside, you're greeted to a beautifully decorated, mountain modern cabin with an open concept living, dining and kitchen. Perfect for enjoying the one-of-a-kind long-range views through the multitude of windows. The spacious living room features a large screen TV with enough seating for the whole family. Gather around the gas fireplace on a cold night to enjoy a movie with the whole group! The fully stocked kitchen offers granite counters, a Keurig/drip coffee maker, and stainless-steel appliances. The nearby king master has stunning mountain views, mounted TV and an impressive spa like ensuite. The bathroom features a double granite vanities and walk in shower. The second bedroom also offers a King bed and large mounted TV. This bedroom also has a private ensuite with an updated tub/shower combo. The final and third bedroom features an additional King bed with a mounted TV. This also features a private ensuite with a tub/shower combo. Two of the bedrooms has a twin mattress (with sheets) for overflow sleeping for small children.
This home has a focus on in house entertainment. With TV's in each bedroom (equipped with the golf channel, ACC & SEC networks, as well as the NFL Sunday Ticket!), a 'Big Buck' arcade game and Sonos speakers throughout the property, you'll have no shortage of entertainment if you find yourself inside on a rainy day. This home is also equipped with high-speed fiber optic internet! On those clear summer nights enjoy the outdoor fireplace, firepit, or outside TV set. Additional Notes:
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months.
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets to this home.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers, crock pots, or storage containers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Guests returning to The Cedar Wood Lodge may receive a discount of 10%, not to be combined with other discounts to the room rent.
- Firewood may be purchased with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax.

Our family had a wonderful week at the Cedar Wood Lodge. The views are amazing and we can't wait to get back here one day! The house setup was great for our entire family. We had an amazing weekend at your home! The Cedar Wood Lodge had everything we could ask for! After a football Camp at App St our boys really loved the hot tub!! We all loved our time by the outdoor fireplace. As a mom I really enjoyed the open floor plan and kitchen. You have done a wonderful job here! Perfect location, Perfect everything!! Amazing views. Perfect location. I went to ASU so I know this area well. This is the perfect spot, we hiked Grandfather. The ladders at the top were a bit scary! We spent time at the Valle Crucis park and saw an Osprey there, ate at ‘Over Yonder’, was delicious! We took a drive up Beech Mountain and stopped by Freds on top. This would be a perfect base camp for a winter ski/snowboarding trip because of the proximity to the slopes, not to mention the hot tub that we fully took advantage of. Lastly, I beat dad at the arcade ‘Buck Shot‘ they have and we tied on several games of ring toss on the deck… So many fun games here! We will be back!- Brandon, Posted: 09/08/2022
What an absolutely wonderful and beautiful stay at the Cedar Wood Lodge! I hardly know where to begin since everything was incredible. It was hard to leave the cabin for day trips + outings because the cozy furnishings and gorgeous outdoor space was all so perfect, we wanted to soak up every minute enjoying the tranquility and comfort. We explored Beech Mountain, Banner Elk and Boone, and also took a nice stroll in the park at Valle Crucis. Dips in the jacuzzi with views of the Bile Ridge Mountains were stunning and peaceful. We loved showing our little boy William how to play ring toss. Watching the fog lift during quiet mornings on the patio will be greatly missed when we return to real life. Our stay at the Cedar Wood Lodge was nothing less than “SUPERB” in every way! In an attempt to do justice in describing our stay here, I am left without sufficient words! Beautiful home with thoughtful touches. The view from the expansive deck is incredible. Mornings with coffee on the deck were perfectly serene. The kitchen was well-stocked. The layout is on one-level with separate spaces for comfortable areas for separate groups/individuals to have their space. You walk into a great room that feels grand with the lofted ceilings and open area with a glass-lined wall.
