This two-level unit is part of an iconic Sugar Mountain roundhouse and is a perfect choice for your next mountain adventure! Located walking distance to the ski slopes, ice skating, tubing and Sugar Mountain amenities (golf and tennis in the summer) as well as an easy drive to the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster!
From the parking area, take the steps down and then to the right to enter Sugar's Edge. Come inside to this adorable round-house and the open floor-plan. The living and kitchen areas have large windows for the seasonal mountain views. Over the woodburning fireplace is a TV, and the sofa doubles as a sleeper for guests, and nearby is access to the main level deck. On this level is a full bath in the hall, the washer and dryer, and a queen bedroom with smart TV. Head down the spiral staircase to the king suite. This bedroom suite has a private door to the lower deck. The attached bathroom has granite counters, shower with glass door, and heated ceiling lamp for comfort. A Keurig coffee station and microwave allow you to start your day in private without needing to go upstairs.
Sugar's Edge is perfectly located in the heart of Sugar Mountain close to everything this beautiful resort town has to offer including skiing and snowboarding, golf, tennis, mountain biking, festivals, and so much more. A Sugar Ski Shuttle bus stop is just down the hill, giving simple access to the ski resort. Downtown Banner Elk with shopping and dining is just a few minutes drive away. Boone, Valle Crucis, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, and Hawksnest Tubing are all twenty to thirty minutes away.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- This home is accessed by a series of steps from the parking area (27 steps in total).
- Check In is after 4pm. Check Out is by 10am.
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets to this home.
- The property is the right side of the middle and lower levels of a three-unit building. There may be other people in the units beside and above you. The entrance to the unit and the deck are private.
- This home is accessed by paved roads and offers paved parking for up to two (2) cars. Do not bring more than 2 vehicles to this unit.
- Trash must be disposed of in the community receptacle near the building.
- Due to the elevation of The Town of Sugar Mountain, all guests are required to come prepared with 4WD or AWD vehicles in winter (November-April) and during inclement weather, you may also need chains. Guests who fail to prepare will not be moved or refunded.
- Guests returning to Sugar's Edge may receive a discount of 5%, not to be combined with other discounts to the room rent.
- The HOA does not allow grills on the deck.
- Guests who cancel in writing 60+ days before arrival may receive a full refund of rent, fees, and taxes.
