Words can't describe this house. The house is secluded with every amenity you need. It is also decorated perfectly. The views of the mountains from the porches are beautiful. You will want not want to leave and we will be back. (And the bottle waters and box of Thin Mints were the perfect touch)

This cabin was well-appointed with many items other rental companies do not offer, such as bottled water and a large assortment of condiments and seasoning, dish and laundry detergent, a brand new roll of paper towels, plenty of regular towels, etc. It was clean and cozy, and some of the bathrooms had wonderfully heated floors. The cabin can be accessed by a 2WD vehicle in light snow (mid-March). The location is near a great little town, lots of awesome hiking trails and Linville Caverns, and UTV riding. Note that the cabin overlooks the highway, but the highway noise does not detract from the serenity. The cabin manual suggested bringing an umbrella as the weather changes quickly! This is a great place for two families to stay together. :)

We have used Blue Ridge Rentals quite a few times in the past, and have always been satisfied. This home was just as described: secluded, cozy, and had all the amenities. Short drive to the turn-off toward Beech Mountain, which is where we went each morning. The driveway was a little hard to find at night, as the number markers are not visible until committing to the turn down the private drive. With snow and ice, the driveway may also be a bit treacherous as it is steep and on the edge of a hill, but we did not encounter any problems. The hot tub is a great size, outdoor fire pit is wonderful, bedrooms fit our group comfortably, and cabin feels secluded and sits atop the side of a large hill so you don't feel like you have neighbors right on top of you. Overall this stay was wonderful and we would use it again next year if it is available!

Excellent cabin and rental experience. Great communications before the rental and very good directions and rental information. The cabin was better than the pictures with the best of everything. Great location and view, very private but close to town. This is definitely 5/5 stars for Rustlers Ridge.

Another great cabin booked with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. We stayed at the Rustlers Ridge for a week and it was fantastic. The cabin is beautiful and peaceful and has everything that you would need. Amazing views and very secluded. This was our second year in a row using Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals and we will definitely be back. They make the booking process so easy and are on hand if you have any problems. See you next year!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Easy to access just a few minutes from Banner Elk but with the feel of complete isolation and relaxation. Entry was easy, the home was immaculate, hot tub, games, pool table, wrap around decks, fire pit, views ... everything was perfect. We will definitely come back again!

We had an amazing time at Rustler's Ridge! The cabin was very comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. The location was GREAT, very close to Downtown Banner Elk, home to many wonderful restaurants and lots of attractions. The management company we dealt with (Blue Ridge Rentals) was very responsive and courteous. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone staying in the Banner Elk area.

We had a wonderful time! The Cabin layout is perfect for families. We have a 3 month old and we were able to put him down at night up stairs and then we all hung out on the bottom level and played music and pool with the gas logs on and got in the hot tub. The space was perfect. The location was only a few miles from down town Banner Elk which was great too. The bed upstairs was very comfortable. The big living room on the main area was cozy with the wood burning fireplace going while it snowed the entire weekend. There was lots of wood provided. The kitchen was stocked very well with all the things you'd need to cook for large families. We are considering making this a yearly trip at this cabin!

The cabin was beautiful and exactly what you would want in a mountain vacation. The amenities made for a very fun weekend. The kitchen was stocked with essentials and the pots/ pans etc were above average as far as other rentals i've visited. Such a cozy place definitely recommend!

What would we do differently? Spend more time in the house!! The lower level can be cold. A small space heater is provided. The gas fireplace also made the space more comfortable. We opened windows. We drank wonderful mountain water. We spent our days out of the house exploring the area enjoying nature and history lessons. We did know Valle Crucis was the site of the original Mast General Store. Check out the post office in the Mast Gen store!!! Then, picnic/walk in the Valle Crucis Community Park. It is flat, some paved surface and some grass only surface. Something to enjoy for all ages. $5 to park. The proceeds support park maintenance. The park is behind the Mast Gen Annex which is .2 miles from the original store. Returning to the Rustlers Ridge each day was a wonderfully relaxing finish. What would we do differently. We would plan to be in Banner Elk longer so we could spend more time enjoying Rustlers Ridge too!!!!

Rustler Ridge is close to Banner Elk and has some nice amenities! The hot tub, pool table and fire pit are a nice touch! The kitchen is fully stocked as well!

We were very happy with our stay at Rustler's Ridge. The communication from the host was always prompt and they were kind enough to amend the cancellation policy due to the pandemic. We have stayed at many air B&B's and this was one of the best appointed homes we have stayed at from the firewood chopped and ready for use to the ample supply of paper products and toiletries to having every light switch labeled. They truly thought of every detail. The location was 5 minutes from Banner Elk with great views although there is a bit of road noise at times. The home was a peaceful, relaxing and serene getaway. Despite the rainy weather we were able to get quite a few hikes in as it is well positioned. And there is plenty to enjoy at the home as well with TV, games and puzzles. We enjoyed the hot tub daily as well as the fireplace and firepit. It was well decorated and quite spacious to accommodate out family of 5. We will be returning next year!

This has been our first outing since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. We spent some much needed family time together by the firepit, in the hot tub, and around the kitchen table. We participated in the 2020 virtual commencement for Appalachian State and even had a rising 6th grader participate since their end-of-year festivities and 5th grade graduation were cancelled. Rustlers Ridge gave us back the feeling of togetherness we have all been craving after months of social distancing. We will be back!

The layout of this house was perfect for the 6 adults that stayed 3 nights. We all had time together at the large kitchen table and in the comfy den, but afterwards we all had a floor to ourselves to go watch tv and sleep. The kitchen was amazing. Really a special place.

This was our second time staying here and as before it was great. We love this beautiful cabin and all it's amenities. Kitchen has everything you need. We cooked every day. The beds are comfy. Plenty of room to relax and build a fire in the fireplace. The location is perfect. Close to all snow activities and shopping. We will definitely stay here again.

We traveled from New Jersey for some family time in the mountains of North Carolina. How wonderful we found this home. Everything about it was perfect for this family of 5. We explored Banner Elk, Boone, and Blowing Rock. The weather was mild, however we had a few flurries which looked beautiful along the treeline. We cant wait to visit again. We - my daughter, three of her friends, one of my friends and I -spent Memorial Day weekend at the cabin for my daughter's 17th birthday and couldn't have had a better time. The cabin is gorgeous and relaxing and so comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed (including in the kitchen) and was delightfully close to town while still a world unto itself. Maybe my favorite part was waking up in the master BR and looking up to see lush green trees out the window. I slept in until nearly 10 am one day, which hasn't happened in maybe a decade. We all had such a great time, filled with awesome memories (and, for the girls, about 5000 photos and selfies!). We will definitely come back.

A spectacular stay at Rustler Ridge to celebrate family graduations. We had an absolutely wonderful few days at the cabin. We prepared a majority of our foods and the kitchen had everything we needed. The game room was popular with our teens at night who also made time to hit the hot tub. Bedrooms were very comfortable and clean...in fact, the entire cabin was clean. With the cool weather we enjoyed a fire outdoors under clear skies, stars and a full moon. The kids enjoyed the game room downstairs and hot tub. A wonderful stay, very spacious cabin for 6 of us and enough areas inside and outside to have some quiet time alone or together. Thank You!

Wonderful time had by all at Rustlers Ridge for Fall Break. The cabin is well-stocked with quality furnishings for a comfy, cozy, and fun stay. Location is super convenient while still feeling secluded. Some of our favorite features: Fire-pit, pool table, cornhole, fireplace, and various gathering areas inside and out that were big enough to comfortably seat our party-of-8. The layout worked great for kids (4, in our case) staying together downstairs, while adults took the main and upper floor (note: top floor didn't have air conditioning which was initially a concern but weather became cool so all was perfect!).
