Mountain Song Lodge welcomes you to leave your cares at the door and relax in this one of a kind Timberframe home lovingly designed, built, furnished, and decorated with peace and comfort in mind.
The main level features a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams, a floor to ceiling stacked stone woodburning fireplace with wood holding niche, and suede furnishings. Because Mountain Song Lodge is designed as a place for loved ones to reconnect, there is no TV in the family room. Off the gathering space is a wormy chestnut dining table with seating for 8, plus room for two more at the kitchen bar. The kitchen is a chef’s dream and featured leathered black granite counters with natural edges, a hammered copper sink, pendant lighting, stainless steel appliances including a gas range, Keurig and regular coffee makers, and a tiled backsplash accent with potfiller.
Off the family room is the master suite. This enclave offers a Queen bed, private Juliet balcony, and a private bathroom with maple counters, two stone vessel sinks, enormous soaking tub with bronzed wand head, water closet, and custom tiled shower with rainhead as well as a separate wand head.
Another bedroom is on the opposite side of the home, also with a Queen bed. A second full bathroom is adjacent to this room, with a barked edge tree branch trim, tiled tub/shower combination, and coppered sink with live edge tree slice vanity.
Ascend the laurel branch trimmed stairs to the loft overlooking the family room. With a pair of chairs, a desk, and built in shelves this is a great spot to finish any work tasks that followed you to the mountains. To the left of the loft is a bedroom with a Queen bed and play area in this room, perfect for the littlest guests to enjoy. To the right is a bedroom with a Queen bed, and next door is a full bath with a travertine tiled shower and a hand-painted vessel sink on a live edge wood vanity. Both bedrooms on this floor offer a new HDTV as well.
The fun doesn’t stop with the main house! Over the two-car garage is a game room perfect for everyone to enjoy, with a pool table and sectional sofas.
The outdoors at Mountain Song Lodge offers as much to enjoy as the inside. A three-season screened in room is just off the kitchen, overlooking the peaceful forest setting. The front deck with a pair of rocking chairs overlooks a small sloping yard area. And the back yard features a deck with gas grill mainlined to the house, a built in stone firepit with gas starter, and a pea-gravel walking trail with benches for quiet reflection meandering through the forest and back around to the house. These trails connect with many other hiking trails, leading you on adventures right from the back door. A brand new top level Bullfrog Spas hot tub awaits under the stars for the ultimate in relaxation as well.
Perfectly located just 10 minutes from Blowing Rock in the Boone Fork Camp neighborhood, bordering National Park Service lands on one side and conservancy land on another with the Blue Ridge Parkway just a mile away, Mountain Song Lodge is an ideal home for your next High Country vacation! For those who may need additional accommodation, consider Muir Lodge and Agape Cove in the same neighborhood.
