You'll feel like a Lucky Bear indeed when you book a stay at this home! Nestled in the trees near Banner Elk and offering a beautiful three-season mountain view, plus a hot tub, firepit, & game room, there's everything to love about Lucky Bear Cabin!

The main level of the home features a great room with vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings, a wall of windows, and hardwood floors. Leather furnishings are arranged facing the views, and there's a stone floor-to-ceiling wood burning fireplace to keep you warm on chilly evenings. The dining table will seat 6, and the kitchen is well designed with spacious counters, lots of cabinets and lighting, and newer appliances.

All the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the main level, making this a great choice for those who have mobility concerns. The primary bedroom suite has a King bed and private bath with a walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms each have a Queen bed, and these share a second full bath with tub/shower. There's a bonus space upstairs in the semi-enclosed loft with a twin-over- full bunk bed and a full sized futon, too!

Step outside on the open front deck and enjoy the cool mountain air. The breezes are always refreshing here! The mountain views are sure to refresh your soul. Off the parking area is a detached game room with a foosball, air hockey,cornhole, plus two leather couches. In the side yard, you’ll find a picturesque setting for roasting marshmallows complete with stone firepit and forest-green Adirondacks. 

Perfectly located just minutes from the heart of downtown Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Grandfather Mountain, and Wilderness Adventure Center. With the rest of the High Country’s wonderful shopping, dining, and attractions, you're sure to love Lucky Bear Cabin!

IMPORTANT NOTES: 
- This property is pet friendly for a max of two (2) dogs, 30lb and under each. The pet rent is $25/nt per pet.  
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- Firewood may be added at the time of booking or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You'll receive two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
- Please note that the owners of this home use security cameras to monitor the exterior of their home to ensure it remains safe when unoccupied and ensure guests are following the rules. No cameras are aimed at the bedrooms, doors, or windows.
- AWD/4WD vehicles are required during winter months and chains may also be necessary during inclement (icy/snowy) weather.
