Located just 3 miles (6 minutes) from Main Street Blowing Rock, this prairie style home is the perfect destination for your mountain retreat with friends and family!

Entry is easy as there are no steps to enter the main level. In fact, there are no steps in this home at all! The large living room boasts high ceilings with exposed beams, a beautiful stone wood-burning fireplace, and a wall of windows letting in beautiful natural light and of course, the stunning views awaiting you outside. 

The kitchen is adjacent to the living room and is fully stocked with cooking utensils, coffee maker and new appliances. Between the kitchen and living room guests will be able to gather around the large dining table with a bench on either side. 

Guests will be able to enjoy the game room which includes a 55” TV, board games, puzzles, and a ping pong table. What a fun way to spend a family movie night or relax on rainy/snowy weather days!

Outside is surely to be your most favorite part of this magnificent property. Eat a delicious home-cooked meal at the custom poured concrete table while admiring the panoramic view. Or perhaps light a fire in the fire pit and bundle up on a crisp summer or fall evening and enjoy some s'mores! 

When it's time to head to town to explore you'll find yourself minutes from the area’s most popular attractions. In the spring, summer, or fall months take a drive on America's most scenic road - the Blue Ridge Parkway, located less than 5 minutes from this property. Pamper yourself at the Westglow Resort and Spa for the day which is right next door! Appalachian Ski Mountain is 13 minutes away and offers perfect slope conditions for all types of skiers or snowboarders!

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- This home is not pet friendly. We appreciate you not bringing pets into this home. 
- The paved driveway allows for 4 parking spaces.
- AWD/4WD is recommended in the winter for snow and ice. Please plan accordingly.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. 
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- Please observe a quiet hour of 10PM as there are full time residents nearby.
