We very much enjoyed our mountain stay! The outside surroundings were gorgeous and peaceful! The home was well equipped with kitchen items and bathroom supplies. The home was clean and uncluttered.

If you are looking for a quiet retreat, surrounded by beautiful views of farmland, this is your place. This house is perfect for a family with kids who like to be outside. There are donkeys right across the street that are part of a farm you can tour. There are wide open spaces for playing. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, and the kitchen is equipped for making meals, if you like to do that while away. The location is a bit off the beaten path- winding mountain roads to get there... but pretty much everywhere in this area is like that. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay here. The house is 10 mins from downtown banner elk, 25 mins from Boone. It's got everything you'd need for a getaway/staycation. There is an easy access to the house (paved road), a nice porch on two sides to be able to relax and enjoy the sunset or stargaze. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is well thought out (with utensils, foil, take out containers - pretty much everything you'd need). There's a grill out in the car park, no outside fire pit but there's a gas fireplace inside. We were all very comfortable and happy staying here. Additionally, the team that handles booking is awesome, easy to work with and quick to communicate. All in all a good spot.

This house is nestled in a peaceful rural mountain setting. It’s location makes you feel you are far removed from the hustle and bustle of things while being surprisingly close to restaurants, shops, and ski resorts. The house was comfortable and we enjoyed using the grill. The customer service was great.

Loved the property. It is very peaceful, beautiful and scenic. Loved the hill in the back of the property for the kids. I could not locate a can opener in the kitchen. Location did not have start up laundry detergent as listed. Only, did one load during the stay due to the baby messing up clothes and had to run to the grocery store.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bluebird Hill this past week. We had everything needed to enjoy the week there. It would have been helpful to know Krups coffee maker was only coffee maker there. No problem, we ran to Dollar General nearby to purchase a coffee maker for 12.00. We look forward to staying again. Thank you for everything!

This was our 5th annual family ski vacation. We were very pleased with the location and size of the house. It is a well stocked kitchen with extras (ie. keurig). Just missing a few necessities that our little group needed....a blender and extra blankets for the -1 degree day. The carport was especially helpful since it was snowing when packing the car to leave. Thank you so much for letting us rent your home, it was an amazing winter vacation!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying on this property. The accessibility to everything was great and the Apple farm was also a good tour for us. However, Bath towels and linens were not as fresh as they should have been. Also would probably be a good idea to replace all the pillows. Other than that, we loved the house had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. Special thanks to Baker Stanley for taking the time on New Year's Eve to go through all the details of the house with us.
