Beautiful place! We loved the hot tub and the view. The home was very clean, well taken care of, and the beds were very comfortable. Everything felt relaxing and easy from the moment we arrived. The hosts were friendly and responsive, which made the stay even better. We would definitely come back!

Booked a last minute trip. Considering the super high demand, I figured something had to be wrong for this to be available, but I was pleased surprised. The cabin feels new and is both well laid out and has great amenities. The view is absolutely unbeatable regardless of what time of year you go. Strongly recommend you have a vehicle 4 wheel drive or at least good power to get up the steep drive.

Private. Peaceful. Quiet. CLEAN. Fun! Location was great! Close to several good coffee shops and hikes galore.. The place was VERY CLEAN!! This home is gorgeous! Ultra modern build and decor. Fantastic location and proximity to main roads and local attractions. House was stocked with everything that we needed, but the extra towels that we brought came in handy for the hot tub. Highly recommend, and hope to return! Thanks for having us!!

We really enjoyed staying at Big Bear Escape. The cabin was very cozy and had a great view of the mountains - the amount of windows/light in the great room was awesome. You get a nice "remote" feel while only being a short drive from the ski slopes or hiking trails and downtown Banner Elk.

We had a wonderful time at Big Bear Escape over the week of 4th of July! The adorable A frame house had all of the amenities needed, really comfortable beds, sheets and towels were top notch. The house is decorated so well, that I may get some of the same furniture for my house. The view was spectacular all day long. Loved how secluded we felt and enjoyed the quick drive up the mountain off of the main highway. Great location for all activities (tubing, Hawks Nest zip lining and the mountain coaster). The kitchen was perfect with all utensils. My husband was able to work a couple days/good internet connection. Blue Ridge rentals were very responsive with any and all questions. We will be coming back!

This home is incredible. Every single detail of the home is high end. There is not a single item that is low quality or low budget. Everything was comfortable and spotless.
