My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Andrews River Haven in May 2024. We loved the layout of the house and the fully equipped kitchen. The kids also loved the game room. It was easy access to West Jefferson, Blowing Rock, and Boone. Having the New River flowing behind the house was an enjoyable experience. We rented canoes from the local outfitter and spent three hours on the river, passing the house and the scenic areas of Todd and Fleetwood. We liked the house and area so much we have already booked a full week later this year.

The Andrews River Haven house was clean and welcoming when we arrived. We prepared meals daily and the kitchen had all the cooking items needed. Everything was well maintained and worked as intended. We will book rentals from Blue Ridge again in the future.

Great spot for pets (outdoor space/porches [w/gates] where your pets can be with you. Lots of entertainment amenities in the basement. Smart TV castable with Bluetooth/AirPlay/etc. Perfect spot for our family to gather and be together (with all our doggies), while we celebrated our daughter's graduation from AppState. ?

We had 6 very happy kids to spend their first Christmas ever away from home- in this home! It was a memory for us all that will last a lifetime. The game room was a hit as all of the children were under 13. We loved getting in the hot tub, roasting marshmellows, cooking together in the kitchen, along with visiting Tweetsie railroad and hawks snow tubing! We had an amazing time at Andrew's River Haven. The cabin is very spacious. The outside furniture is very enjoyable. Absolutely loved being on the river. It was a great time and we hope to visit again next year!!

Extremely responsive and helpful. GORGEOUS back yard out to the river. So many activities at the house for us to use which came in handy since it rained about half our stay. Comfy beds, plenty of room. We had 6 adults, 3 toddlers, 1 baby and 2 medium/small dogs and never felt cramped. The gates on the front and back porch were also amazing for the kids. We had such a good weekend and will definitely be booking here again for our next trip to the mountains.

We love staying at the Andrew's River Haven cabin. It's so BEAUTIFUL there! It gives you the TRUE mountain feel we love so much! Sitting by the river listening to the water flowing, and on the back porch soaking in the crisp beautiful weather listening to nature's animals are two of my favorite things at the cabin!
We love that is so close to everything. Getting groceries is just down the road either way to Walmart or food lion, and then going to downtown Boone is a short distance drive to go shopping.
We also love how the cabin is not even 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway! That is my ultimate favorite!!!! We get to enjoy the most beautiful view of all....God's beautiful creation!!!

My family had a peaceful, relaxing time at Andrew's New River Haven. We enjoyed sitting by the New River, relaxing in the hot tub, hanging out on the porches, and comfy couches. We appreciated that there's a 3' fence for giving our dogs some time to run around, as well as gates at the top of the deck stairs to keep them on the decks. Todd is a great location--close to Boone and West Jefferson, plus the Blue Ridge Parkway and parks for hiking. I loved hearing all the Spring Peepers and toads in the evenings.

Beautiful home! Fit our needs perfectly! The teens loved the basement full of lots to do! The fenced backyard was amazing for our dog and the gates on the porches were great for our small child. Loved our stay here- we will definitely be coming back!

This home does not disappoint! Very clean and has everything that you will need to have a peaceful stay! We loved driving the half-mile to the river beach park and tubing back to the house! Quick hour long tube ride! The endless hours on the porch watching the dog run in the yard was perfect! Couldn't have asked for a better time, other than staying longer!

My niece rented this home and we visited and thought let's rent it sometime! We live in Boone and are familiar with the biking and kayaking that are available in the area. From start to finish, including our communications with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals, everything went so smoothly! We brought our dogs and the fenced in yard was one reason that we chose this property. The home was fully equipped with all the kitchen needs and recreational needs as well!! We had a blast!

You will not be disappointed with this home! Our family traveled from Gastonia NC and Charleston SC and the pics on Air B&B do not do it justice. It has soooo much to offer: location, fantastic views, fire pit, hot tub, game room, fenced in large yard for our son's dog, easy access to New River, nice decor and comfortable beds. The perfect place for peace and quiet with the convenience of Boone or West Jefferson just minutes away. It is suitable for all ages and would be great for a large family also. We can't wait to come back in the summer for river fun with our kayak and tubes. Thanks for making our weekend more enjoyable than what we expected! This was a blessing and we are grateful!

My husband and I and our 3 dogs were thoroughly impressed. The posted photos do not do the property justice! The little stretch of road it's located on is perfect for a bike ride and stroll with the dogs. There is even a public park with a one mile trail and additional river access about a 5 minute car ride up the mountain. The fenced in yard is larger than it appears, offering plenty of space for them to stretch their legs off leash. The neighbors were a bit closer then expected, but this particular property offered good privacy landscaping. And having river access kept us on the property more than we thought we would be. *there is a bit of a sloped climb to the river edge. The gap offered wonderful views of the mountainside cattle farm and fall colors. I would love to visit in the summer to better enjoy the river!!

Enjoyed the view, hearing the river at night, and the easy access to get to the river behind the house. Our dogs enjoyed the large fenced in yard. Our kids enjoyed playing ping pong and pool. The house was very clean and the beds comfortable! The Riverside Restaurant is so close and has great food! We will definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing time and stay at our cabin - Andrew's River Haven. Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals were super nice and handled all our paperwork so it was a smooth renting experience. When we got there everything was clean, neat, and made our stay very enjoyable. They even had a nice treat on the counter for us when we arrived! Thank y'all so much for making our stay wonderful at the cabin!!! We will be back again.

Andrew's River Haven was a great experience. The house is as pictured, comfortable, clean and very accommodating. We had no problems. The yard was clean and grass was mowed. The grill works well and the hot tub seats three adults comfortably. The correspondences from the rental company were well detailed in description and received in a timely manner. I highly recommend Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals, as well as Andrew's River Haven.

Andrews River Haven was a great experience. The property was clean and very comfortable. There were nice hygeine starter packets in each bathroom and dish soap/sponge in the kitchen. There was even a new tennis ball in the backyard for our furry family member to play with. The backyard has a large fenced in area with a gate that opens up to walk back to the river. The grounds area has nicely mowed grass and was clean of debris. The front porch has a gate at the top of the steps which is really nice for sitting in the rockers with our dog along side us. The inside of the house looks like the pictures on the website. Beds are very comfortable, as well as the furniture. Hot tub is nice and seats 3 people comfortably. The game room was excellent! Lots to keep everyone entertained with. We used a couple of the tubes and went up the road to the public access of the river and floated back down to the house. We also road to the Blue Ridge parkway and walked to Cascade Falls. Very nice! While out, we stopped at the Cardinal in Boone. They have delicious hamburgers and Cheddar Jalapeño hush puppies. My family enjoyed our time together. We hope to go back.

Thank you for replacing the sofa, the outside gate to the fence and the gate to the back deck. And, thank you for continuing to allow us to bring our pets. Our four legged family members love the river. We had a great time. The weather was super, this year. We have spent 10 years the week of July 4, at Todd, NC. Each year we have rented from Blue Ridge. The agents are a great help and I am very appreciative of the maintenance staff. Todd and his crew are fast and efficient. Problems arise and their response time is great.

Everything was great and just as they stated, my family and I stayed during a rain/ice storm. Getting in and out of the house was easy, no problems with ice buildup on the drive way. There is a fence in the backyard so you can let the dogs out to play. Very easy drive to West Jefferson and Boone, I would highly recommend to friends and family.

There were 5 staying for four nights and 7 for 2 nights. The Family, Kitchen, and Dining area were very good. Bedrooms were of good size and comfortable. Decks, fire pit, spacious fenced-in yard, and hot tub were very much used and appreciated. Our 4 year old grandchild (and adults) loved the game room in the basement (pool table, Foosball, air hockey, and table tennis. games). We were 20-25 minutes from Boone and a lot of things to do and see.. The New River is at the rear of the property . It was nice to visit but faster flowing water and not as accessible as pictures seem to suggest. However, lots of places to go in the area for water and hiking..

The landscape is absolutely stunning as is the house. Plenty of room and the beds sleep amazing!! There's nothing more relaxing than sipping a cup of coffee taking the beautiful green pastures and wildflowers, or sitting around the firepit under a starry sky!

We loved the location of this comfortable home surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful river. Biking was great on the road just outside the door which followed the river in either direction. Drive or bike to "downtown" Todd where you can visit the local mercantile and bakery. Nice back yard with access to the water. House supplied many tubes for floating down the river (we hope to do this in the summer). Fun games in the downstairs. The location is close to Boone and West Jefferson for shopping and restaurants as well as a close access to Blue Ridge Parkway.

We have rented, both, Cruizing River and Andrews River Haven, for 4 or 5 years. Two families. Some minor problems, but, the staff has, always, been super with helping. Dan, Erica, Dillon, have been, especially, prompt and helpful. We hope to rent these cabins for many more years. The area is beautiful, the location convenient. We bike, tube down the river, kayak and, over eat. We are very happy with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals.

The stay was fabulous, we traveled here to get clear of Hurricane Florence forcasted to come ashore on the eastern coast of N.C. Under a bad situation we were able to make a mini vacation in Boone N.C. The cabin needed nothing, games down stairs, open living room and kitchen afforded us an environment for great conversation. The porches and ability to sit next to the creek and take in the views while barbecuing made for some great gatherings. My Family will re-book here again in the future, the experience is something we wish to re-experience.

They definitely seemed to have thought of everything, from kitchen cookware and spices to bathroom toiletries. We loved the hot tub (despite some minor technical difficulties) and game room! Our group also liked that the cabin seemed newer than some others we considered. Despite not being high on the mountain the view is still absolutely gorgeous. Overall, would definitely recommend and stay again!

We enjoyed out stay at the homes. This is our 4th or 5th year renting one or the other, of these cabins. We rented both, this year, as our family's needs have grown. It was a very nice experience for us all. I want to thank the owners for allowing us to bring our four paw family members. They get noisy once and away, but we work very hard to keep their noise to a minimum. And, to keep everything as clean and neat as we would want our home. We plan to do this again, next year, if you will allow us. Thanks again. We enjoyed our week, there. We were home only two days before I had emails asking "was it time to go back".

Lovely house. First family vacation in a few years and in the mountains. The fire pit is great, hearing the water lapping against the shore is peaceful. Our son, daughter/son-in-law kayaked several times. We went to Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, walked the trail to Trout Lake. Very relaxing week! Thanks for the hospitality! P.S. North Carolina is beautiful this time of year! The leaves and the frequent snow fall was very lovely especially since we don't see it that much in Jacksonville. We also loved the game room. We loved the cabin so much! We loved the bedding for sure! Loved the mountaineering character in all the furnishings! We loved the game room, hot tub, & fire pit! The weather was beautiful! Andrews River Haven was truly a haven! My husband and I chose to celebrate our 10 year anniversary with our closest friend which happens to be 4 of my 5 bridesmaids. 10 years and still just as close. The beautiful nature and clean and organized amenities allowed us it be comfortable and relaxed. Needed nothing! Thank you so much for sharing this home with us!

We continued our Christmas tree cutting tradition and both families found the perfect tree. The house was perfect for our two families (4 adults, 7 kids, aged 2 to 14). When we arrived I honestly expected to see Julie Andrews singing "the hills are alive with the sound of music!" It's gorgeous up here! After walking all day the hot tub was a blessing! This was our second time here – we had our family ping pong tournament – roasted hot dogs in the pit – went tubing and kayaking – played Bocce Ball and went bike riding – Also explored Boone – hiked – shopped – ate – love getting up in the morning sitting on your deck and enjoy the quietness and beauty -.
