Almost Perfect

Our stay was wonderful. The cabin was better than expected. Very convenient to Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. No steps to taking our items into the cabin was a huge plus. There is a paved road right up to the driveway. It is very well maintained and the creek is right there with a babbling brook. It is very nicely decorated and a floor plan that is well thought out. It is very private and quiet as well. We will definitely return in the future.

Every single thing- from the house's great location to the beautiful interior decorations- was better than we expected. Our family of four (2 adults and 2 children ages 10 and 13) had a wonderful long weekend at 'Almost Perfect '. We loved all the property and exterior had to offer- walking in the yard along the creek, sitting on the porches listening to the water, and enjoying the hot tub and fire pit. And the interior was spotless, perfectly decorated, and well appointed. We absolutely plan to rent this house again next year!

Our stay at Almost Perfect was magical. The cabin was so warm and charming and had everything we could want and more. Everything was clean upon arrival, the kitchen was wonderfully equipped with everything we could need, and the beds were comfy. The location was perfect... private and serene but not too far from town. When we had trouble with the gas logs someone came out quickly and helped get them fired up. We also really appreciated the communication about weather and road conditions. We would LOVE to stay at Almost Perfect again very soon.

Such a perfect spot within range of so much! I would recommend coming with the groceries you want because you only have a food lion for produce in the area. But we came prepared and had the perfect nights in. Bring a board game to enjoy by the fire! No cell reception (but wifi available) makes you disconnect and actually connect ?

We had an easy and worry-free trip with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. Almost Perfect was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The outdoor areas are simply spectacular. There were so many options for seating, indoors and out, that it was easy to find a private spot to hide away with a book or just enjoy the sound of the stream. The covered front porch and screened back porch made it easy to enjoy the outdoors, even in bad weather. The grilling pavilion was also fantastic. The basement area with pool/air hockey table was a fun plus, and the huge dining table was great for board games. The kitchen was nicely stocked (All-Clad pans, both drip and Keurig for coffee) and roomy. All the beds were comfortable. The DSL was perfectly adequate for low-def streaming and web browsing/email, but I don't think it would hold up to multiple video streams (ie, multiple people trying to Zoom for school or work). There is zero AT&T cell service within about 1/4 mile of the house, so be aware and turn on WiFi Calling on arrival to receive calls and texts. (There is a landline for emergencies.) The extensive Moses Cone trails are only 10 minutes away. Blue Ridge staff were very responsive to emails, and we will definitely book rentals with them in the future.

Close to town but not to close, just right. Mostly flat roads easy drive for those not liking some of the steep hills. Big property to explore, the rental company was very professional and helpful.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. It was probably the nicest rental we have ever rented. It felt like home and has all the luxuries of a real home. I didn't feel like I was staying at a rental property. The house was immaculate and the check in and check out process was easy. The front porch was beautiful. The outdoor kitchen and firepit was an added bonus. We really enjoyed walking around the property with the dogs. The creek was beautiful and we loved looking at the Mountain Laurel. It was a great rental for pets. The house was 5 miles from downtown Blowing Rock and 13 Miles from Boone. It was a great change of scenery from covid and we enjoyed such a restful vacation. I would highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay here. They had everything we could possibly want in a house and more! Everything was very clean and they had every kitchen thing you could possibly need to cook/bake. Our family visit to Almost Perfect was great. We were wondering if we would enjoy staying at a cabin without any scenic views of the mountains, but once we had our coffee on the screen porch listening to the creek that was all we needed. We've rented in Valle Crucia, Banner Elk, and Beech Mountain before, and this has been my wife's favorite place to visit so far. Great amenities throughout and very peaceful. Everyone had room to stretch out and relax!!

Property was wonderful. We found all the amenities more then adequate. We had perfect weather throughout our trip and enjoyed the skiing, site seeing and experiencing everything the local area has to offer. The fireplace and hot tub were a big hit. The kitchen was very well stocked, which allowed us to cooked several great meals and enjoy being together as a family and making some wonderful memories. Like our stay so much, would like to return during a different time of year.

"Almost Perfect" was an awesome cabin for our family girl's trip. There was 6 of us and we had plenty of room. The 3 bedrooms each had a king size bed in them. The outdoor areas were just lovely. It had a spacious front porch, an enclosed back porch. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit as well. We chose this cabin mainly because of the outdoor space and it did not disappoint.

We recently had the pleasure of renting this lovely property. Just minutes from Blowing Rock and Boone, it is just as pictured!! The front porch was the "perfect" spot for coffee, enjoying a book, or being entertained by the little chipmunks and hummingbirds that visited each day! My husband even saw a couple of river otters playing in the creek! Blue Ridge Vacation Cabins & Realty (Dan & Jess) were especially helpful and answered all my questions! But when we drove up in the drive way and saw the lit Christmas Tree, I literally squealed with delight. And Christmas continued throughout the house tucked here and there! We came to celebrate my husbands birthday and our 44th wedding anniversary! BRVC this one is by far the pretties and cleanest. It is so peaceful listening to the water and walking through the yard. We got here on Monday and hurricane Irma was passing through. Tuesday morning it looked like it rained leaves everywhere. We just stayed at the cabin and relaxed. The view from the dining room is beautiful. We visited Blowing Rock and some other places. You are very blessed to have this beautiful place and extremely generous to share it with strangers. We loved our 10 days at Almost Perfect. The house itself is gorgeous, the screened porch was our favorite place. The home was immaculate when we arrived, easy to find and even though there are neighbors, you feel secluded. Everything we could want for the kitchen was there. We have rented vacation homes in the area for 30 years, and this is the best yet. Enjoy!

My family recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home. The location, setting and decor is unmatched! From the moment we pulled in the driveway we knew we were in for a treat. It just felt like home! We were very pleased to see that parking and access is easy, as well. Every morning & evening we spent time in a different part of the house. The front porch offers a wonderful view of the front yard and lovely creek. The back patio beside the outdoor kitchen is a perfect place to enjoy conversation while relaxing. The one rainy night we had was spent on the screened in porch so we could take advantage of the cool mountain air, and the furniture out there is so comfortable that we talked until late into the night. The inside of the cabin is amazing. It is filled with beautiful furniture, artwork and decorations. This home is maintained beautifully and is in pristine condition! The beds were very comfortable and beautifully made with high-end bedding. This home is spacious and "Perfect"! NOT Almost Perfect. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. We will definitely be repeat visitors!!

We just left Almost Perfect after a wonderful week with our kids and grandkids! It was so beautiful and peaceful, my favorite spot was the cozy chair in the screen room early every morning listening to the stream and birds. The kids loved it all inside and out and never wanted to leave! Even though it is mid june we literally needed a blanket to sit outside so were able to enjoy the outdoor kitchen and firepit comfortably!! An easy drive into Blowing Rock or onto the parkway was nice too, but you truly don't want to leave once you are there !! We will be back :)

We arrived on Sunday morning it snowed during our drive here. We started to get excited and nervous, once we arrived we got overwhelmed by the house, yard! When we opened the door we got very overwhelmed by how beautiful the home is! We love playing in the yard and the stream out front. We also had a great time in the game room.
