This beautiful log cabin in the Clark's Creek area of Valle Crucis truly is A Perfect Retreat from all your worries!
The main level features a spacious living area with leather seating, gas-log fireplace, and large flat panel TV and BluRay player, a unique and inviting dining area with windows on three sides and wonderful views of the surrounding forest as well as mountain views, a beautiful fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, and a large deck that is peaceful and private with a teak wood dining set for great outdoor dining, a gas grill, and a large hot tub all with great views of the surrounding forest and mountains.
Also on the main level are a half bathroom located off the foyer and a master suite with a king bed, satellite TV, and a private full bathroom with 2-person Jacuzzi tub and a large separate tiled shower.
Upstairs is a second master suite with a king bed, satellite TV, and private bathroom which also has access from the upstair hallway, a bedroom with 2 sets of bunks, and a wonderfully unique sitting area with three walls of windows and 20-foot ceiling that enable you to enjoy the outdoor sights while relaxing comfortably indoors any time of year.
The lowermost level contains a large unfinished space with a foozball table, ping pong table, and other games, along with a washer and dryer.
Perfectly located between Boone and Banner Elk near Valle Crucis at the end of a quiet gravel road, A Perfect Retreat is a perfect home from which to really enjoy all of the mountain charm and beauty that this area has to offer.
Please note: This cabin is accessed via a fairly steep gravel road. A vehicle with 4WD or AWD is required during winter months.
This property is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive 100% refund, bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive 50% refund

My wife, three kids, and I spent an extended holiday weekend at A Perfect Retreat recently and had a terrific experience. We've rented many cabins in the high country over the last several years, and this one was our unanimous favorite. The location was great, between Boone & Banner Elk, just secluded enough to offer unobstructed views and privacy. The cabin offered all the amenities we could ask for, including a truly well-stocked kitchen. The owners very conscientiously labeled switches and provided detailed instructions for electronics. Great Getaway! We recently had the chance to stay at A Perfect Retreat and boy was it ever PERFECT. We loved everything about the home from the cozy fireplace, to the well accommodating kitchen, to the play area for the kids, to the hot tub on the deck. We rented this cabin for our honeymoon. It was amazing...the house is so comfortable and cozy. It rained most of the time but that was fine. We sat by the fire, watched movies, played cards and talked....decompressing from the wedding! I have rented many times from Blue Ridge rentals and have never been disappointed.
