We spent the weekend at 5 o'clock somewhere with our family. The home completely surpassed our expectations, from the beautiful views and close proximity to both Boone and Blowing Rock to the superb home décor and generous supply of kitchen amenities. We actually had a problem with the upstairs heat pump, but the rental agency quickly sent someone over to fix the problem, and even provided portable air conditioners until the heat pump could be fixed. We would definitely recommend this home and Blue Ridge Rentals to others. Looking forward to next year already

I have had the best experience with this company and rental. The company was quick in their response to questions and were very courteous. The rental was beautiful, clean and equipped well with all that we needed. They provided starter toiletry items in each bathroom as well as a starter kit for the kitchen that included soap, paper towels, dishwashing soap etc. The kitchen was fully equipped with all we needed for our stay. I definitely recommend this company and rental property!!

The entire process from booking to checking out was easy. We got in-depth instructions for everything several days before arrival, and they checked in to make sure everything was going well while we were there. The cabin was even better than the description and we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

Great house with bathrooms for each bedroom, and spacious living areas. Kitchen was well equipped, and the hot tub was perfect. Awesome mountain view with the great room facing the sunrise! We'll be back

We had a great time at 5 o’clock Somewhere. The location is perfect for visiting our daughter at App State and going to a football game. The hot tub and pool table were big hits with the teens!

Enjoyed our stay, comfortable furniture, full kitchen. Close to Boone, Blowing Rock, Skiing, Blue Ridge Parkway. Has 2 amazing decks with nice chairs. Hot tub with a view.

We absolutely loved this house and loved the area! Each of the 4 rooms has a bathroom which was such a treat. Everything on the house was just wonderful and it was hard to leave! The views from the house, the fireplace, the decks, the large great room… all perfect! Thank you for letting us stay at this little piece of paradise. We had the best time and made so many amazing memories. Thank you!

We had a great experience at a beautiful, spotless and well equipped home. Lots of space to spread out and the hot tub and pool table were big hits. We didn't need to contact the office for anything - everything was taken care of perfectly.

This is a beautiful, warm, relaxing, well-appointed home with a wonderful view— even in summer. It is spacious and inviting and anyone would be comfortable and pleased to be able to come here for relaxation. The location is perfectly situated between Boone and Blowing Rock and minutes from the Parkway for summer and winter activities. Fantastic house as advertised. kitchen was fully equipped and it was very clean and orderly. Proximity to App Ski Mtn made it easy to drop off for skiing and skating.

A group of nine family and friends (ranging from 19 to 84) volunteered to work at the Operation Christmas Child distribution center in Boone. The cabin was perfect with bedrooms that each had individual bathrooms. We ate meals as a family and all remarked how well suited it was for our group. We hope you make this an annual trip to volunteer at OCC and would love to stay here each time!

We had four couples on our vacation, this house turned out to be absolutely perfect! The private bathrooms in each room was an added bonus for traveling with friends and we all mentioned how clean the house was. The picture do not do the house justice! It is beautiful! We cooked a big meal in the well stocked kitchen and never felt crowded. We enjoyed playing pool, sitting in the hot tub, local sights, hiking and just relaxing with the beautiful Mountain View’s! Highly recommend a stay here!

Our family stayed in this house for our summer vacation and it was perfect! Everyone had enough space with plenty of bedrooms and each had its own bath attached. It was spacious and clean and the view off the back deck was beautiful. Also, it was very close to Blowing Rock and Boone. We loved it and would stay again.

The house looks small from the street, but is enormous on the inside. We had plenty of room for 5 people (3 kids). The view from the deck is spectacular in the morning and at sunset. The house gets a lot of light and actually gets very warm during day from the sun. Upon arrival, everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. We were early and called the management office to see if we could get in to the house an hour early. They were very accommodating and changed the code for the door with no issues. Check out was easy. The location was a minute from App Mountain, 9 minutes from Tweetsie, and 30 minutes from Sugar Mountain. We will definitely book this house the next time we go back.

Wait till you open the front door and see the amazing view through the gigantic windows! The Blue Ridge Mountains paint the most beautiful picture everywhere you look. A fantastic house with terrific views. You will love it.

We loved this place for Christmas. There were even Christmas decorations in the closet, including a small tree with lights and ornaments!!! Location is awesome. Right across the street from the top of the ski slopes for App Mtn. Ski resort. And, only about 10 minutes down the hill to Boone and everything you needed. Shopping, restaurants, malls, etc. were just right at the bottom of the hill. The house is large. We put an entire 4 person family and 2 grandparents in the 3 rooms downstairs, and aunt and uncle on the main floor in the master suite. We loved the pool table and entirely different living space downstairs. Beautiful views of the mountains out back, facing SE. Large yard for your pooch. Most places don't have this big of a yard in the mountains. It was a little slope style, but very doable for the dogs to run and play. Very well stocked with supplies so you don't have to immediately run to the store. The king bed in the downstairs was SUPER comfortable - and assuming all others were as well, as I didn't hear any complaints. All in all, we loved this place and if we come back to ski we will rent here again. The parking lot for the slopes is literally .25 miles around the corner and down the hill. Great place and highly recommended. Responsive management company as well.

Home was awesome! Beautifully located on a slope with fantastic views, we were able to enjoy being nestled just outside of Blowing Rock. The hot tub on the deck afforded us some amazing shooting stars at nights and the pool table downstairs kept the family entertained in the lazy afternoons. Very awesome home. Bring sunglasses for the mornings! The windows view East and are amazing but bright!

Our rental cabin (5 O'clock Somewhere) was a very positive experience. When we were unable to get our first choice cabin, Dan Fitzgerald provided our family with a list of alternative rentals. We were pleasantly surprised by the choices and how easy it was to get a cabin that surpassed our expectations. Easy access, plenty of parking for three cars and four very nice bedrooms made our visit a restful experience. We will return to this cabin as our new favorite place to stay in Blowing Rock.

We really enjoyed 5 O'clock Somewhere for our Son's graduation. Good set up for several families with rooms having their own bathrooms attached. View was great and two decks gave plenty of room our graduation party guest to enjoy themselves.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and well stocked. The pots and pans were stainless steel and great for cooking. Sometimes they are non-stick and cut/frayed so I now bring my own pots and pans…but did not need them. Yeah! The hot tub was amazing and having 4 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, was such a bonus.

We really enjoyed out visit to your cabin. I loved having the three bedrooms downstairs where the pool table was so the kids had a place to hang out independently from the adults. Everything was very clean and well kept.

We had a fabulous time at 5:00 somewhere. The house has a wonderful layout and was perfect for our group. The view is great and the location couldn't have been better. We were able to hike in local areas and then come back and enjoy the hot tub! Everyone had comfortable bedrooms and privacy. We will definitely be back!

We had 3 couples, 5 kids..the place couldn't be better! The views were great, specially sunrise, the house was clean, great open layout for socializing and the rooms were big. The kids room was awesome and became a playroom with the bunk bed being their castle. And the hot tub at night was just the perfect ending of a long day sightseeing in Boone, Children's museums, Tweetsie...Overall it was a great rental!
