Now that we have been home for a few days, I wanted to let you know once again how grateful Tony and I were for all your help in renting "Hangin' Out" for our 2 weeks in Blowing Rock. It was everything we had hoped for and more! Only one drawback.....I really could have stayed twice as long! The weather was perfect, a cool relief from all the heat we have had in Pinehurst this summer.
I really don't think I could have put it all together at the price we paid without your help and the discounts offered by the agency, etc. Also, we appreciate all the understanding shown by your boss when we thought we would have to cancel due to Tony's health concerns.
Please copy this to your boss for me and let everyone else in your agency know how efficient, helpful and friendly we thought everyone was to work with. I will certainly recommend BRMR to anyone I know who needs rental/real estate services in the area. And we will certainly be calling you again for our next vacation in the area.

Hi Micki and Casey. Just wanted to drop you a note and let you know that we had a great time at Tasker Cabin over Labor Day weekend (9/2 – 9/5). The layout of the house is great. The elevation of the deck on the back of the house makes it feel like you’re sitting in the trees. It was just me and my husband on this trip, but I can definitely see us coming back with our family for the holidays. There’s so much room in this house; everyone could have their own space. We especially enjoyed the large master suite with the den area. It rained the first night we were there, so we opened the roll-out windows in the master suite den and enjoyed the cool mountain breeze. I also really enjoyed the large, well-equipped kitchen. It had everything I needed to cook each night. Most rental homes are lacking in kitchen equipment, but not this one. The cabin feels very remote, but it’s a quick drive to Boone and very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway access road. Thank you for recommending this property. We had a wonderful time! Yes, we greatly enjoyed Dancing Bear Cabin. It was very 'homey' feeling and wonderfully appointed. KUDOS to the owners and their decorating skills. The beds were extremely comfortable. We very much loved the 'rushing' creek behind the property, it was very relaxing sounding and you could hear it even inside the cabin with the windows open. We had a really wonderful time at Appalachian Dream! Seriously, it was fantastic. We definitely made use of the hot tub throughout the day and each evening. We did have to call the evening number on the second night, b/c it went into energy saver mode and we wasn't heating properly, but someone answered and could put us in touch with the hot tub expert if we needed the support. As it turned out, we didn't, as one of my friends figured it out and got that heat back up just right! The kitchen was extremely well appointed, which we really appreciated b/c we did a LOT of cooking while we were there!!! In fact, we spent most of our time in the kitchen :)
I will definitely stay there again. It was so nice and cozy and that porch was a really nice feature. I love the trees in the back yard and there was this really cool fog lying over the backyard most of the weekend.
It was just perfect! I'm an ASU alum, and always love the time I get to spend in Boone :)

I found my dream house. 1 2 Remember is the perfect house for a family get together. We have 2 grown daughters. One married with a 1 year old, they got the bottom floor, the other stayed upstairs on our floor. The master suite is just so marvelous and relaxing. I could have stayed in that tub all day!!  No wait...maybe the hot tub!

The kitchen was wonderful for all of us to gather in cooking and the gas grill was awesome cooking out on the deck. We loved eating on the deck. We only ate once at the dining table. Every morning and evening we ate on the deck. We filled up the hummingbird feeder and they were just swarming around it. We didn't see a bear, but we saw turkeys and deer.

Since we live in rural southeastern NC, we see lots of deer and a few turkeys. In the mountains though they seemed more magical.Having the salt and pepper already there in the kitchen was so helpful. It was one of things I had forgotten to pack or buy when we went to get groceries when we arrived!The soaps already there, the extra towels, the notebook of information, the FALLS nearby directions.

Our 1 1/2 year old granddaughter walked to the falls 3 times! We didn't even have to carry her!  The hot tub looking onto Grandfather Mountain! WOW! Awesome!All the little extra touches at the house were so thoughtful. Thank you again for all the touches of home you gave us on our magical vacation.From reservations to checking in, everyone was delightful. The information book and booklets in the home were a life saver too. Who says you have to go to Disney to have magic?! It's right at our door in the Blue Ridge Mountains! –

We just got back to Raleigh and miss Blowing Rock already. That house was just fantastic. Honestly with the occasional trip to the store and one dinner at Mellow Mushroom we never even left. I know the previous renters apparently left the place in shambles but I must say I was very impressed with how great a job the cleaning lady did. Between the mountains, the beach and Las Vegas I spend a small fortune on getaways and have rarely stayed somewhere that was this comfortable. The shower pressure was a wonderful surpriseit was great! The King bed slept very well. Maybe a few extra pillows would be good. We took the Queen [bed’s] pillows and were just fine. Kitchen amenities were nice. We had brought a few items from home to find you already had them here. The blender would not work though. Maybe a gate of some sort to keep small dogs or children from doing down the steps. We thought ahead though and brought one for our 2 pups. No big deal and it served the purpose. We really enjoyed the yard being fenced in for our “children”Stevie & Tyler, our 12 & 13 year old Chihuahuas. It was VERY nice to let them roam around freely, especially the hill out by the hot tub. Having an extra tank for the grill was great. We had to switch it out while grilling. Glad it was at our fingertips. An outside broom would be good, to keep the stuff swept away from the tub and walking area.

Even though the weather was awesome this weekend, we still used the fireplace at night to make out evenings even more relaxing.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway. Hats off to the staff at Blue Ridge Rentals! They still provide customer service which you don’t find much of anymore. We stayed at the Grapevine Cottage right after it was renovated. We enjoyed it very much and that’s when we noticed the Bear Bungalow. I found out that you also have The Dog Housewe are looking forward to staying there as well.

We loved the location of the house. It was so easy to get out to the highway and go exploring. We went to a lot of different towns this week!
