This charming log home in the heart of Seven Devils is newly updated in 2023. The wrap-around porch is ready to welcome you and your guests as you relax in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Gather at the fire table, or cook up dinner on the Blackstone and then dine al fresca.
Inside, the kitchen is newly updated with stainless steel appliances and granite counters with bar space for three, with the nearby dining area with a table for eight. The living room has a gas log fireplace with large screen Roku TV and comfortable leather sofa. The home offers three king bedrooms, one on each level of the home. The open loft has a pool table and TV for entertainment, plus a twin sleeper and a desk for convenience. The upper king bedroom has a private door to the full bathroom. The king bedroom on the main level is across the hall from the full bathroom with the washer and dryer in the hallway between them. The lower level has two bedrooms, a king and a queen. If you need space to spread out, there is also a second living space on the lower level with a patio door that leads to the hot tub.

- Firewood for the outdoor firepit may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
- This home allows up to 2 dogs for $25/night each plus taxes.
- AWD/4WD and/or chains are required during inclement weather for the town of Seven Devils. This home's driveway is slightly uphill and gravel. Please prepare safely.
- Guests returning to Appy Pappy's may receive a 10% discount off room rates, not to be combined with other discounts off the rent.
- Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive 100% refund, bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive 50% refund

Appy Pappy's is a spacious, family friendly, and beautifully decorated rental that is equipped with everything that you may need during your stay. We had plenty of room for two families and the kids and adults loved the outdoor fire pit and hot tub. The location is perfect for traveling into Boone or Blowing Rock (if you have car sickness don't take the across the mountain, route go back towards Boone, the 4 extra minutes is worth it), but even the quiet neighborhood is fun to explore with the pond and beautiful views. We enjoyed sitting on the wrap around porch enjoying our morning coffee and we had plenty of cooking supplies to prepare dinners at home. The pool table provided extra entertainment and the downstairs bar area was a cool added touch. Extremely convenient to Hawksnest where our kiddos had a blast snow tubing. There is also a stocked trout pond and gem mining just down the road. The little town has a park with pickleball courts that we didn't get to use this time, but hope to in warmer weather! This place is incredible! Perfect location to spend sometime in the mountains. Very close to downtown Banner Elk, with easy access to Beech Mountain. The layout of the home is amazing!
